First, my apologies for not responding sooner to this complaint.  I appreciate the extension of time that you have allowed for me to respond to this complaint. I reviewed the complaint composed by the customer, reviewed my file, photos and paperwork, and have arrived at a...

conclusion. We provided the customer with a thorough and complete inspection.  We arrived at her home, took photos of the damages, mapped out the moisture using thermal technology – infrared camera, and explained the extent of the damages.  We spent over 2 hours with this customer to help her understand her needs for the work that was before her in her home.  As a standard that our company extends to each customer, we will come to complete an inspection.  Our inspections typically are $250.  This particular inspection was more because of the use of the thermal imaging by our technicians.  It is our policy which is communicated at the time of the appointment, we charge for inspections - $250.00.  Typically, this inspection fee is waived if the customer decides to have the repairs completed by our company.  There is a cost to do business and this is our policy. With that being said, however; I am not prepared to lose our A+ rating with the Revdex.com, so we have decided to waive the inspection charges.  It is our policy to charge for inspections, but if the customer believes that our communication was below substandard and she wasn’t told this, we will take responsibility. It should be noted that the original attempts to contact our office were unsuccessful due to the contact information not being up to date with Revdex.com and SERVPRO.  In the future, if any complaints are ever received, please have your office contact me directly at [redacted].  I will make sure to respond in an expeditious manner. Thank you for your time and extension of grace you have allowed us to respond. Best Regards,  [redacted]SERVPRO of Davis/Woodland[redacted] office[redacted] cell[redacted] fax
