Hello and thank you for reaching out to Grand Leisure TravelAs of today, 9/*/17, we still have not received the receipt that [redacted] claims he sent to GLT for his water park tickets back in Per my records, I have calls and emails from [redacted] about the receipts but I do not have the receipts themselvesI have searched my personal work email, as well as our main office email address and cannot find any record of these receiptsProvided that [redacted] sends the receipts to us, we will gladly refund himAgain, I cannot find any receipt(s) from this guestOnce we receive it, the money will be refunded and we'd be glad to help this guest with whatever else he needs (including the $we offered him as a discount for being a returning customer!)Guest satisfaction and retention are at the forefront of our business modelWe would never withhold money from a guest that is due to him so I sincerely look forward to wrapping this up once I receive the documentationAgain, thank you for reaching out to our office and we look forward to settling this matter amicably with [redacted] Best, GLT

On April **, 2017, *** *** *** booked a vacation home rental under Grand Leisure Travel, LLC for a stay dating from August ***, On the day of booking, *** *** put down a $deposit for a booking totaling $including a refundable $security depositA few moments later,
*** *** was sent an 11-page lease which very thoroughly details each of our terms and conditions, specifically with regard to cancellations*** *** signed our lease, thus agreeing to each of our termsRegrettably, on June *, 2017, *** *** called in and requested to cancel her reservationPer the policy she agreed to, *** *** would be penalized 25% of the total booking cost (minus her security deposit)On July **, we sent *** *** an email with a receipt showing a refund of $which was put through to her Visa card (the one she used to put a deposit down)*** *** did not understand why she was not getting back her full $In another very carefully explained email, *** *** was told that the initial deposit she put down was $900, however, 25% of the total booking amount comes out to $which is what is withheld based on our leaseThus, $- $(25%) = $which is the exact refund we sent out to her on July *** *** *** claims that we re-booked our house for August ***However, our calendars are COMPLETELY and TOTALLY publicThe home she booked, the Beach and Lakefront Resort, as listed on ***, is still available for bookingNo one else has rented it and we are still tirelessly trying to re-book the homePer the aforementioned items, we followed our lease to the letter and are solely upholding our agreed upon termsWe are by no means trying to "double dip" and not give money back that is due to our guestWe are simply trying to cover the expenses that come up the moment someone reserves a homeIt is without question that customer satisfaction is our utmost important priorityHowever, we cannot be held liable for guests who break our terms and complain about terms they agreed to months priorIf any further information is needed to aid in the resolution of this claim, Grand Leisure Travel would be more than happy to submit any such documents
