In response to your correspondence of October 12, 2015, we have reviewed the complaintand provide the following answer, including several attachments that document the situation.Mr [redacted] occupied unit [redacted] from [redacted] to [redacted] Attached are moand move-out reports which delineate conditions pre andpost occupancy for the apartment Mr [redacted] occupiedThe move-out report indicates thecondition the apartment was in after Mr [redacted] left the propertyIn addition, during hisoccupancy on or about June 10, 2015, Mr [redacted] removed shrubbery from the exterior ofhis apa1tment that was an integral portion of the landscaping for this apartment complexAreasonable charge for the damage to the landscaping was posted to Mr [redacted] ' s account onJune 2015, and he paid $ for the shrubberyThe final accounting for his securitydeposit was for damage and cleaning to unit ***# [redacted] during his occupancy, and this wasclarified between the moand out reports and with the final accounting provided to Mr[redacted] .On October 9, 2015, we received a billing from [redacted] for the removalof shrubs on the property, which were not dead as indicatedWhen we contacted [redacted] , he reviewed the billing, and found it to be a fictitious charge, as he neither removedthe shrubbery or sent the billing for the removalThis apparently was Mr [redacted] 's attemptto create an issue, sometime after his vacation of the property.We are unaware of the content of the complaint filed with your agency, but we can assureyou that Mr [redacted] was treated fairly at all times by this office Thank you for your letter of concerns Very truly your, Grand Management Services, Inc Richard N [redacted] President
