Grand Mart International Food

Me and my wife visited the Grand Mart grocery store located at: *** *** ***, Hyattsville, Maryland ***We spent roughly $150.00, which is what spend when go there biweeklyOn this visit we purchased a Watermelon and a few packs of *** ** *** *** *** (Chili & Citus), along with other itemsOne day after the purchase we decided to cut open the Watermelon to find that it was spoiled (Rotten)We also learned that the package of *** *** package had been chewed on by Mice or ratsTwo days later I took the merchandise back to the store and spoke with a younger gentleman who was part of the store managementI explained and showed him the itemsHe told me that I could get another watermelon, but I told him that there were only a few in the bin to begin with and the ones that was there were probably spoiled tooI told him instead of a refund I just wanted a store credit and he told me he couldn't do thatThat's when he asked me for the receipt, which I told

I rarely go to the store located in Alexandria, VA, but last Feb, 2015 I went and made few purchases. One of the items were rang up twice. I waited until next visit to request a correction, hoping a refund. Month and a half later was the next time, since the store was not convenient nor have products I particular want to purchase, I approached the customer service person, as I started to explained to him the issue, one of his employees came over, he totally ignored me, a customer, and start conversation with his employee. That how rude this gentleman was. Is this the culture of this particular store, customers ARE NOT important to them. Anyway, after the employee leave, he turned back to me and I told him the issue. He looked at the receipt saying too long can't do anything. The amount wasn't much, but it was the principle of the issue. First, being treated rudely, not even an apology or an "excuse me for a moment.", Secondly, not remedy the situation by even considering the amount. Thirdly, when I asked a cashier his name, I was told he is known as "K[redacted]", could hardly speak English, but most of all being VERY disrespectful in general. With the way the store treats customers, I would NOT recommend to anyone.
