us make for his chimney capHe stated he wanted a 36" roof cap but did not indicate at that time that it was circumference measurement not a diameter measurementThe first fault here was he did not indicate which dimension he wanted only assumed as we did that it measured 36" and that's what we builtAll materials that we fabricate are either round, square or rectangles are given in diametersYou don't order pipe in diameters, you order in diameterSame with our business either in pipe size, caps, elbows, it's always ordered In diametersI guess we are at fault here as my shop guy who speaks English, but not his primary language as per Mr***, should have asked to clarify this but assumed (our fault) that the customer wanted a 36" round cap and that's what he got. When the customer came back and talked to MrD*** about this, MrD*** indicated that Mr*** was very adversarial and somewhat abusive so MrD*** treated him back the same wayFor that I am sorry and apologize if we offended MrSalomonsenI am under the assumption that we gave him the 12" cap when he left the buildingI have told my bookkeeper to refund the amount of $ to Mr*** In a company check, mailed to his address as I don't want his credit card Information.
