Review: I have lived in this apartment complex since July 2013. Since 2013, my apt. has experienced a string of things breaking- most often the garbage disposal which causes water to spill out over my sink. I wait on average 3 weeks before repairs are done. When repairs are done, the repair man may has previously asked me about my personal issues, track dirt inside, and cite that I am the reason the things break - noting the items are NEVER replaced, but instead minimally resolved.

I have had issues to include: Harassing neighbors, garbage collector outside chronically breaks, fax/ and office equipment do not work, gym equipment does not work.

And this month, I was told that I owed $78 for a fee which was not my fault! This is crazy! In August of 2014, I had prearranged/ and preplanned my [redacted] social worker to pay a portion of my rent ($200) due to my work with her. The arrangement was made weeks in advance, and on Aug. 1st, I paid $200 under my rental amount/ as my [redacted] social worker had prearranged through the [redacted] of Chesterfield to pay $200 balance. Again, this was prearranged through apt. management and my [redacted] social worker. Everyone involved was aware there was going to be a time lag in the time [redacted] would be able to write the check and snail-mail it. I was told this was normal and this would 'be okay'. However, it seems the [redacted] check was a few days late, and I was charged additional fee's which I was not aware of. Until this month, and I was told I owed $78. However, it seems I had another 'credit' which I was also unaware of, and my credit was applied to the $78 (the $78 was not my fault as all had been prearranged), and my credit (which I NEED this month!) could no longer be applied. And I still owe approx. $40. This is ridiculous. On the NRP management site, they write:

"Renter's Rights

As someone seeking to rent an apartment, home or condo, you have the right to expect that housing will be available to you without discrimination or other limitations based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin. This includes the right to expect equal professional service, the opportunity to consider a broad range of housing choices, no discriminatory limitations on communities or locations of housing, no discrimination in the pricing or financing of housing, reasonable accommodations in rules, practices and procedures for persons with disabilities, and to be free from harassment or intimidation for exercising your fair housing rights."

Not only have my accommodations NOT been reasonable, & not been professional in the past due to late repairs and my phone messages being ignored, but the "reasonable accommodations in rules" is not being observed. If I prearrange payment arrangements between the [redacted] and rental management, and I am notified in advance that payments would be made and all of the arrangements were 'Normal' including time frames, than why am I being charged $78 !?!? And the credit which I have evidently had for a year, I was not made aware of having the credit and I am no longer allowed to use it! What is this?? I need this money , this is completely not reasonable, not rightDesired Settlement: I would like you to correct this fee, I would like you to erase the $78 fee, and allow me to use my $42 credit which I had accumulated in July 2013 and was not made aware of.

Review: False advertising! The pictures advertised of the property are false. The business center has no computers, the equipment in the fitness room is old, torn and broken and the pool is dirty, none of which can be used. The property manager is very unprofessional and rude and should be removed from the office. The customer service is terrible. The outside of the units are dirty and full of spider nests. The lease forms you are asked to sign are old and faded so you can not make out what you are signing. They do not have posted that residents are required to have a parking decal before they have a tow company, tow your car. Visitor parking is not clearly marked.Desired Settlement: I DO NOT wish to speak to the mean and unprofessional property manager on site who has not been helpful at all but instead someone from the corporate office so they are aware of her behavior so something can be done about it. The pictures of the property should be removed and new ones displayed of what the property actually looks like. I want copies of every lease document I signed that is in my file. Newer forms need to be used.
