Complaint* ***
I am rejecting this response because:When I talked with *** on March 15, instead of having the long spring made that I requested, he proposed connecting smaller ones together with "S" hooksI expressed the idea that it could get hung up on the internal mechanism and that I needed the correct length of spring madeI never heard back form ***He did not respond to my e-mails, changed his phone number, etc...I sent numerous e-mails after March expressing the idea that if *** could not get the correct spring made I needed the old one back, but he never responded after March All of the other spring makers that I have approached want to see the old one to gauge the size of wire, etc...so if *** tossed the spring my project is over
Sincerely,
*** ***

to help you. After many hours put in to your project, we decided the best plan of action and you agreed to go ahead. Therefore, the new springs were special ordered and we contacted you on March 15th to tell you that we were ready for the install when you were. We did not hear a response from you for 3 weeks. When we did hear back from you, you decided that you didn’t want to pay for the new springs and that you just wanted your old spring back. This is not possible. You agreed to order the new springs and the rusted springs that was deemed unsafe by our professionals was recycled once the new springs arrived. You were aware when you met [redacted] that the business is owner operated. You were informed that if you wanted to meet at our business address, it would have to be by appointment only. I apologize that nobody was there to help you when you dropped by unannounced. We would be more than happy to help you continue with this project! Please contact us to let us know when you will be available to purchase the springs and schedule an install.

[redacted], You requested on February 28th that the order be placed. We responded on February 29th that the order would be made. We contacted you on March 15th that the order had arrived. The following week, the pieces of springs that were supplied by you for measurement were discarded. You contacted us on April 3rd informing us that you weren’t sure if you wanted the springs that were previously agreed upon, ordered, and in our possession ready for purchase. We contacted you back on April 3rd that we would look into finding a solution based on your new requirement. After calling our manufacturers, we were unable to get you one full spring and you were informed by phone call. On May 30th, you requested your spring pieces back. We are very sorry that you were not satisfied. You stated that we did not respond to your emails and changed our phone number. Both of these are untrue. If you would like to continue with your project, you may purchase the springs you ordered or you can call us for the spring measurements we determined would work from the broken spring pieces you provided. Sincerely, Grand Openings Garage Doors Customer Service
