Grand Rapids Air Duct & Chimney Cleaning

We had a very negative experience with this company. We made an appointment to have our air ducts and chimney cleaned, as we were moving in to our freshly painted and newly carpeted home. When I arrived at home I found soot and air duct debris everywhere covering our floors and furniture. There was multiple scratches and dents in our freshly painted woodwork and my sons floor vent was completely ripped off of the wall with damage to the surrounding paint and drywall. It was absolutely disgusting. My nanny, who was asked to stay outside with my children while they worked, said that the men were very unprofessional. Their service truck would not start and when she denied having cables one of the gentlemen proceeded to rummage around our closed garage. We were not left photos or an invoice. The next day the owner, who was presented to us as the manager, met me at my home. He took photos then proceeded to try and blame the mess on construction. Thankfully our painter and nanny could both attest to the status of our home minutes before the vent tech's began their work. The carpet had just been installed 20 days prior and the painter was doing final touch ups. It would have been impossible for that amount of dust, dirt, and debris to accumulate. We asked that the house be thoroughly cleaned and the damages be repaired. My husband and I made several calls and sent multiple emails and texts, trying to get this resolved. We even sent before and after pics. The owner would not correspond with us. I asked specific questions when making the appointment to ensure that it was a clean process and that my children could be in the home. We were unbelievably disappointed.
