On July 20th we were moved by this companyWe were quoted hours total with traveling timeWe were told several times that would be a firm priceIt seemed to take them an extremely long time to unload the truck, there were men, but only men were actually working while one just stayed in the truck most of the timeWe were then charged extra hours even though we were quoted what we were told was a firm price When we unpacked we discover a few things missing, most important [redacted] were missing which were in a box inside of a cabinetThe entire box which had important papers has never been foundOne week after moving we received a call from someone who purchased my wife's [redacted] onlineThey couldn't access it because they didn't have the passwordIt was reported to the policeThe police have returned the [redacted] but it seems pretty obvious it was stolen by someone working for the moving company The moving company has not offed any kind of settlement because of the other missing itemsIn fact after reporting this incident to them no one has ever contacted me back to discuss it with me
On July 20th we were moved by this company. We were quoted 7 hours total with traveling time. We were told several times that would be a firm price. It seemed to take them an extremely long time to unload the truck, there were 3 men, but only 2 men were actually working while one just stayed in the truck most of the time. We were then charged 3 extra hours even though we were quoted what we were told was a firm price.
When we unpacked we discover a few things missing, most important 2 [redacted] were missing which were in a box inside of a cabinet. The entire box which had important papers has never been found. One week after moving we received a call from someone who purchased my wife's [redacted] online. They couldn't access it because they didn't have the password. It was reported to the police. The police have returned the [redacted] but it seems pretty obvious it was stolen by someone working for the moving company.
The moving company has not offed any kind of settlement because of the other missing items. In fact after reporting this incident to them no one has ever contacted me back to discuss it with me.
