Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Josh is completely telling lies in his response My husband did not once threaten him or his family I read the text messages My husband said he would pray for Josh not to let his pride get in the way of doing the right thing and making amends for his mistakes Just because my husband is a big man does not give Josh the right to discriminate against him He did not bully anyone working at our house during any part of the project I also told Josh I wouldn't accept his $offer to have the mistakes fixed because I did not know what the cost would be without going out and getting quotes first I told him I would call him in about a week once I had other quotes to have the work done and let him know the cost of the work He called me back one hour later and said he would tell [redacted] to send his plumber and tile guys over to fix the problems I said that would be fine and I spoke to [redacted] about it as well [redacted] said he would call the plumber and let me know when he heard back from him to schedule a time to come to the house For two weeks I waited for the plumber to show up and my husband and I both spoke to [redacted] several times during this two week period and his response to us everytime was that he could not get in touch with the plumber and would call us back if/when he ever heard from him After waiting two weeks to have the plumbing fixed, I couldn't wait any longer and I made a decision to hire another plumber as it seemed that Josh nor [redacted] were ever going to send a plumber to my house I also arranged for the tile guy to come back and fix the tile work after the plumbing had been fixed because Josh was no longer communicating with me at this point; he had nothing to do with arranging the tile guy come and fix the tile, I did all of that myself He just left us high and dry even though he had originally guaranteed all the work for one year We hadn't even gone one month before having an issue and he decided we were too bothersome to deal with anymore We had multiple sit-downs with Josh during the project to voice our concerns over work being done so this complaint should not come as a surprise to him He knew we were unhappy with his lack of communication with us as well as the subs that were being sent to our house But everything we said to him seemed to go in one ear and out the other and he didn't address any of our concerns Also to note, when I hired my own plumber to come out and fix the plumbing they also checked the plumbing that had been done in the guest bathroom that Josh's crew remodeled and they had to replace all of the rough in plumbing that had been done in the shower They said the workmanship was so poor that I would have had a pipe blow out within a year and flood my house Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
Regards,
*** *** Regarding the sink stopper, it was never connected to begin with. The drywall spackling had to cure before we noticed the groove between the two sheets of drywall. Obviously this was not noticeable when the job was first completed and signed off on. Since the contractor informed us that their work was warranted for one year, this repair should be made as it pertained to a deficiency in the contractors work.We only accept the part of coming to fix the outside siding

I was out of the country when *** called, as soon as I returned I called her back, she made this complaint without even speaking to me one time, she is my *** and we went out of town to work on project, we built her a 36xenclosed porch for half the price
since she was familyShe added extra work at end of project then held final draw as hostage to get free workShe called two days after leaving saying bugs were in porch, which if you live on a cattle farm it's going to be impossible to keep bugs off a porch when you open the door bugs can enterShe was impossible to work forI tried to make concession but she will not be reasonableLike I said she made this complaint without even calling business number she sent a private message on Facebook , and filed complaint the next day

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. If Josh's definition of rude is an informed customer who asks questions about the work that is being done in their house, then yes, we're rude. As a customer I have the right to know what is going on in my own house but Josh runs his business by hoping that the customer never questions any of the work that he is doing. And when I asked for something to be fixed correctly he says that I shouldn't be asking questions. I will be happy to provide him with a copy of the invoice for the plumber's work that was $500+ to all of the rouplumbing that had been done incorrectly by his employees. I will also be happy to provide Josh with a copy of the invoice for the sheetrock that had to be fixed that was $400+. If Josh is so concerned about "doing the right thing" and "standing behind his work" then he should have no problem reimbursing me for the full cost of the re-work I had to have done because of the shoddy workmanship of his employees
Regards,
*** ***

We have already sent someone to address the issuesThe ***'s have constantly found something new; this is the fourth time we have went back Calvary doesn't warranty wood warping or settling of lumberThat is clearly defined on contract

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Mr. [redacted], Owner of Calvary Home Repairs, sent a tech to our home and this tech fixed the broken door knob and adjusted the door so it no longer rubs on the floor of the porch. He also fixed the pole that holds the gate on the open deck which was very very loose. The gate itself now closes like it is suppose to now that the pole is fixed. We still would encourage anyone who wants to see the workmanship to come by and check it out when we are home.

I was contacted by [redacted] about drywall , we finished the job they were happy and signed off on work. We even came back a couple weeks later and repaired a sink that the stop had came loose. I never heard about any drywall until 5 months later. It was not until a week ago I heard about siding being...

loose. I will be glad to repair siding but I can't be held for drywall touch up 5 months after a job is completed. I told [redacted] we were busy and I would try to get to it as soon as possible. We will repair siding as soon as possible.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  Josh is completely telling lies in his response.  My husband did not once threaten him or his family.  I read the text messages.  My husband said he would pray for Josh not to let his pride get in the way of doing the right thing and making amends for his mistakes.  Just because my husband is a big man does not give Josh the right to discriminate against him.  He did not bully anyone working at our house during any part of the project.  I also told Josh I wouldn't accept his $300 offer to have the mistakes fixed because I did not know what the cost would be without going out and getting quotes first.  I told him I would call him in about a week once I had other quotes to have the work done and let him know the cost of the work.  He called me back one hour later and said he would tell [redacted] to send his plumber and tile guys over to fix the problems.  I said that would be fine and I spoke to [redacted] about it as well.  [redacted] said he would call the plumber and let me know when he heard back from him to schedule a time to come to the house.  For two weeks I waited for the plumber to show up and my husband and I both spoke to [redacted] several times during this two week period and his response to us everytime was that he could not get in touch with the plumber and would call us back if/when he ever heard from him.  After waiting two weeks to have the plumbing fixed, I couldn't wait any longer and I made a decision to hire another plumber as it seemed that Josh nor [redacted] were ever going to send a plumber to my house.  I also arranged for the tile guy to come back and fix the tile work after the plumbing had been fixed because Josh was no longer communicating with me at this point; he had nothing to do with arranging the tile guy come and fix the tile, I did all of that myself.  He just left us high and dry even though he had originally guaranteed all the work for one year.  We hadn't even gone one month before having an issue and he decided we were too bothersome to deal with anymore.  We had multiple sit-downs with Josh during the project to voice our concerns over work being done so this complaint should not come as a surprise to him.  He knew we were unhappy with his lack of communication with us as well as the subs that were being sent to our house.  But everything we said to him seemed to go in one ear and out the other and he didn't address any of our concerns.  Also to note, when I hired my own plumber to come out and fix the plumbing they also checked the plumbing that had been done in the guest bathroom that Josh's crew remodeled and they had to replace all of the rough in plumbing that had been done in the shower.  They said the workmanship was so poor that I would have had a pipe blow out within a year and flood my house.

Calvary home repairs has made a good faith effort to accommodate a very difficult customer, we responded immediately to the issue. Told ms [redacted] that if we had done wrong we would repair. The next day her husband called and begin to harass and threaten me. I recieved over 40 text messages from him in less than 3 hours. He even made a vague threat towards my family. Mrs [redacted] called later that day and apologized for him. I said I would not go back . It was never proven we did anything wrong. We finished the job everything worked great. They signed off on project and paid in full. A week later I get a call. We do not warranty materials. Ms [redacted] is looking for a hand out . We will not ever go back to her home . Her husband is a loud a violent acting man. He and she did everything they could to cause trouble. Now they are looking to get something else for free. I can show the pictures of bathroom and show the text messages from her husband. Also show where just for the sake of peace where we offered her $300 dollars in reimbursement.  She said in the beginning that $500 is what she was seeking now its a thousand. What more can we do

Mrs [redacted] called told me of problem we agreed to fix the problem. We told them that we would have problem fixed that week. The next day her husband called and started screaming and threating us. Told us he would hire someone else. I told them we would not be coming back if they continued to be...

threating. Her husband sent me over 30 text messages that same day even going as far as bringing my family into it. [redacted] then called and acted like she was unaware of what he had done. I told her I would give her a credit to repair valve of $300 since I felt it unsafe to return. They were impossible to deal with the whole job. Her husband is a large man and tries to bully you into doing things. She wouldn't accept the offer. I then told her I would send a plumber over. She then told the plumber she was going out of town. She ended up not using our plumber but got her own. Then we repaired the tile . This is complaint is just out of spite. The job has been repaired and is closed as far as we are concerned.

We have addressed both issues and completed both...

warranty issues. As far as this complaint is concerned it has been closed with Calvary Home Repairs.  We sent out a tech; he replaced the door knob and adjusted the door. We would also encourage Revdex.comto go look at project. It is a beautiful deck and screen porch .
