This was a disaster. My sister had her wedding reception here on 1/11/2020. She and her now husband fell extremely ill after eating the vegan dishes prepared only for them. The guests complained about how stiff the meat was in their dishes and most egregious of all, they did not honor the contract they were bound to for the kids? menu and served something entirely different from what was contractually agreed upon. Even worse, they never consulted my sister or her spouse about this before doing so. When my sister approached the staff with her concerns and complaints regarding all of this, they basically told her it wasn't their problem and intended to do nothing to remedy any of it. I'm actually really disappointed at how unprofessionally and unremorsefully they've handled it. Turns out this establishment is low brow as all ***. Avoid it. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. They are not truly invested in the satisfaction of their couples.
Refund We would like a refund for the total number of kids meals that were paid for in advance as this establishment did not honor our contractual agreement for what the kids? meals would be.

Those remarks really took us by surprise because of all the positive comments expressed during the planning process and the reception itself.
After receiving the client's comments and request for monetary compensation, an investigation was conducted, and we concluded the following:
The vegan dishes ordered for the client and your husband (Grand Salon Zucchini and yellow squash gratin) were prepared with fresh products and cooked according to the Food Safety Guidelines.
The meat being stiff. We have proof of purchase for a first-class product from our food suppliers. You can find attached the palomilla specification sheet from Ambassador, the providers.
We count on the testimony of the chef, the preparation area personnel and the event's staff that the food service was delivered as per your request.
Kids Menu. Il Bambino Plato dish has the option of chicken with Alfredo sauce or Meatball with Pomodoro sauce. Although the client specified, she wants chicken, she requested Pomodoro sauce and the kitchen immediately related the dish to the meatballs.
The investigating committee has decided:
To refund the client 50% of the price paid per (4) kids due to the alleged misunderstanding. The banquet service package the client contracted with Grand Salon Reception Hall includes more than just the food service.
It includes: Four-Hour reception, DJ service, sit down dinner, designer cake, open bar, toast, guests table and main table floral arrangements, linen, banquet chairs and tables, waiters, bartenders, preparation area personal, security officers, room set up and cleaning,
It is good to point out that, we count with a professional and well-trained kitchen staff that is led by a chef with over 30 years of experience and that as a regular procedure in all of our events, The Event Coordinator and The Head Waiter are instructed to ask the host and their guests for their opinion regarding the food and service and they received nothing but compliments on your event's day.
It is unfortunate to see how nowadays; certain people are using reviews to threaten for monetary compensation as stated in your written statement and we are quoting:
.... "We want our deposit back and some type of refund for our food poisoning and the food of our guests. I am pretty sure you do not want us to give a review on this atrocious food and a detailed description on what happened to my husband and I"...
