Review: Grand St Construction claims to be it is licensed and insured in their advertising, I entered a contract with Grand Street Construction for an apartment renovation, however they filed permits using another construction companies license. Before the work was completed they disappeared without paying their subcontractors. I contacted [redacted] the [redacted] of Grand Street Construction via mail fax and text but he did not respond as a result I had to pay the sub contractors the money owed but Grand Street Construction to get the project completed. Grand St construction is not a licensed New York City general contractor as they claim.Desired Settlement: Refund of money paid in excess to the subcontractor above the contract price to complete the work listed on the contract with [redacted], Grand Street Construction who refused to pay.
