Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the business. He said that they have located the CD for this customer and that he attempted to contact her by phone several times but never received a returned call. they have the CD ready to mail out but just need updated contact information from the customer.

Review: I ordered a package a pictures from this kiosk in the mall where I work. I tried to reschedule the photo shop date because of a bad blemish. I was told by the person that worked there not to worry they would photo-shop the blemish out and I would receive my CD and Photos in the mail. Well I received the photo shopped pictures which were only a few shots, but never received the photo shopped CD which I paid $135.00 for. I had already paid $10.00 for the photos that I did receive but not the CD. I have called, and emailed at least ten times and no one will return my call. I feel like I was ripped off for $135.00Desired Settlement: I would like the photo shopped CD of the pictures of my family

Review: To Whom it May Concern: I am making a formal complaint for fraud against Grand Studios Inc. My boyfriend and I had purchased a photography session through them for $21.50 and set a date for 06/16/2013. I was about 6 months pregnant and we wanted to have a special photo taken. A few days before the procured date a representative called to cancel and could we possibly reschedule? My boyfriend's work schedule didn't permit us to do so, so we requested a refund. The flier stated no refunds but we were assured by the representative who cancelled on us that they would do so. I was given a phone number to call a [redacted] at [redacted] told me to write a letter stating why I was requesting a refund and that it should take 2-4 weeks to receive. After a month had passed and no refund was received I called [redacted] back and asked what the status was. He told me he wasn't sure, that he'd get right on it and it should arrive within 2-4 weeks. After ANOTHER month had passed I called [redacted] yet again only to be told he didn't have my letter, could I send it again? I had my boyfriend fax him a second letter. I called [redacted] AGAIN and he assured me my refund would be expedited and I should have it in a matter of days. I was more than cordial throughout the months long exchange to get my $21.50 for services not rendered. However, after I gave birth on Sept. 27, 2013 and STILL no refund, I became agitated. I left [redacted] a message that I did not appreciate being lied to and that I would be contacting the Revdex.com and the attorney general's office. He called me back and my boyfriend answered the call -- [redacted] told him he didn't "respond to empty/idle threats". Since then, I've made a complaint to the mall where their kiosk was set up and have yet to receive a response. I believe they may have pulled this scam before as [redacted] had said "it's just $20." Well, it's my $20 and I didn't get what I paid for, nor have they come through with their promise to reimburse me, as they said they would. There was a customer service phone number that no longer works [redacted] Their email is [redacted] and their address is [redacted] Thank you for your time and consideration, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like my money back as they cancelled on us and verbally said they would refund my money. I would also like a written apology for taking 4 months to do what they said they would do.

Business

Response:

As per the request from the customer, I'm aware of the situation. I did explain to [redacted] that our company is not in the business of refunding customers. It boldly state our coupon "Sorry, no refund." We are a mobile photography company and we do understand sometimes emergencies occur beyond our control. Therefore we state on the coupon valid for one month; but we honor our coupon for up until one year of purchase. If we refund every customer that schedule appointment with us and did not keep their schedule time we would go under. We still have to pay the same salaries to accommodate or staff whether the customer keep their appointment or not. This is the reason we cannot afford to give refunds. However because of [redacted] situation, I took matters upon myself personally to acquire her refund from the sales representative. Unfortunately he is no longer employed with our company. (Sales representatives are paid on commission and the money collected for coupon is mostly theirs except for a small fee.) I had all intent to pay [redacted] her refund and still do. However; because of her threats and discrediting language I was offended. I apologize for my actions but I'm human being and when you go out of your way to try to make things right and not appreciated it hurts.

As you know from our history this is not something that occurs with our company often; However when it does you get an immediate response. I strive to satisfy our customer and this is something that I feel very bad about because I got out of my character and for that reason I apologize to [redacted] and to Revdex.com. You can rest assure this problem will be resolved in form of refund in the amount of $[redacted] on Friday Oct. 11' 2013.

Sincerely,
