Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Payment arrangements were offered, with a finance fee, after both clients had contacted the veterinary office to dispute the chargesThat is just poor business practice in my OpinionI do have a corrected address of the training facility *** *** *** *** WI? I apologize As far as notifying either of us what any fees would be that did NOT happenWe were under the impression we would be having our horses vaccinated along with a barn full of other horsesPer Keri *** the trainerShe is the person who set up the appointment, and made mention of this clinic being across the street at another facility, When we discussed what took place with the trainer she said "sorry, guess there was a misunderstanding" The veterinary clinic also stated per a phone call that they had in fact been in the area but they still wouldn't discount out farm call I paid towards this bill in good faithI have been trying to determine the best course of action in this matter and did not offer to make further payment until this matter was resolved Perhaps The Veterinary clinic should take this matter up with Ms*** for not being forthright.there has been no attempt to rectify this situation by either the veterinary facility or Ms***.
Regards,
*** ***

In the spirit of settling this matter we will discount the farm call by half and waive the late fees if the remaining $is paid in full within days of receiving this noticeWe will no longer be able to provide services for this clientThank you, *** ***, CVT Practice Manager Corriente Veterinary Service *** *** *** *** ** *** *** ***

The stable owner contacted us to arrange a farm call to vaccinate the horses at the stableIt is common for the owner or one other person at a barn to coordinate a 'vaccine day' when there are multiple owners to coordinate a group vet visit to save money on farm calls and the person
coordinating will be present to act as an agent for the horse owner so they do not have to miss work or travel to be present. The stable owner asked for prices of the vaccines, tests, and services she or the boarders may be interested in as well as the farm call fee prior to scheduling an appointment to pass along to the horse owners to see who was interested in having their horse seenWe informed her that our standard charge is $per mile from our clinic for farm calls over miles from the clinicBased on 'mapquest.com' her farm in Marathon where the customer's horse was kept is miles away from our clinic so the farm call would be $- the farm the horse was seen at was not in Plover as the complaint had claimedOur typical farm call fee for horses within miles of the clinic is $57.It is our policy to 'split' the farm call charge for an appointment between anyone who is at the same locationIt was split between her and the other person she mentioned in the complaint each being charged $The morning of the appointment we called the stable owner to confirm the number of horses we would be working on, what they would need done so we had the appropriate supplies, and to confirm she would be ready for our arrivalThe other farm we visited that day was in WausauThis farm is also north of our clinic but it is several miles away and not 'across the street' as the complaint had claimed. The customer did say the bill was more than she expected when notified about the amount, however after we had explained the charges to her she asked if it would be okay to make paymentsWe did agree to let her make monthly payments until it was paid in full plus the monthly interest fee if she could not pay the entire balance at onceFollowing is a screen shot of an email from May in which we were replying to a question about the Coggins Certificate form and we also asked about payment. There was no issue with the bill mentioned to us at that time and she expressed gratitude for our patience. The first and only payment of $was received by check on June - this was days after services were providedWithin that time two monthly statements were sent to the customer's address with a notice printed on it once again informing her interest would be charged on balances older than days. If a client does not make a payment in a billing cycle on charges over days, our policy is to send a letter with the billing statement explaining if payments are not made the account will be turned over to a collection agencyWe also do try to reach clients by phone if their account is delinquent to give them every chance to make payments before we have to turn the account over to a collection agencyThe customer has not chosen to contact us by phone, email, or written correspondence to dispute the charge. We feel it is unreasonable for her to expect us to waive the entire farm callOur veterinarian and assistant traveled miles to work on her horse per her and the stable owner's requestThe complaint was filed days after the services were provided and the account had already been reported to a collection agency due to failure to make a paymentsThe account is now the property of the collection agency, American Profit Recovery, and the customer will have to contact that company at (855) 474-to arrange payment.Thank you,*** *** ***Practice ManagerCorriente Veterinary ServiceMaple DrivePlover, WI 54467(715) [email protected]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowAt no point was I appreciative of the response I received, the blatend disregarded for my complaint, the added charges or collection threats not to mention the astronomical charges by this veterinary service I was contemplating a course of action due to the unwillingness of this provider to make arrangements of any kind with adding additional fees. For the second time, I called the office immediately as I was instructed with no knowledge of the appointment date, change in plans, or feesThe veterinary service had me on the phone and chose not to disclose pricing information or make sure I was aware of their policy or travel feedI feel I was taken advantage of due to being out of state I have learned a valuable lesson, that unfortunately you can't trust all business owners to be transparent, or treat customers with any respectThis company only has its financial gain and not the animals it treats in its interest There was also no patients involved, this account was turned over to collection after only monthsI absolutely decline this offer My final offer is collection be discontinued, late fees be waived and the outrageous farm call be discounted by half This is a discount of roughly $Surely not to much to ask for my inconvience, waste of time, headache and stress this has caused meIf these terms can't be met, I will exercise my right to free speech and take to every avenue to share my horendous experience with both this veterinary service as well as the trainer who was working with them Thank you
