Here is a copy of money being deducted from account also from *** saying the hotel would not refund me
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I was informed that I could pay for the room myself, but that I would not be refunded for what I payed due to the hotel having a no cancelation policyThis was a simple mistake and the owner was trying to make a quick buck by undercutting a website that they use to find guestsH told me to give him my card and pay for it then take it up with *** laterCan't me to find out *** does not refund the money the hotel already took it
[redacted] made a reservation for a room onJune 14, 2015 thru [redacted], an online travel company. The usual policy with online travel services is to bill their customer when the reservation is made and then give the hotel/motel a virtual credit card number to be used for payment...
for the room after the guest arrives. The virtual card can not be used until the guest has arrived. Our check-in time is 1PM and most guests arrive after that hour.Mr. [redacted] arrived at our motel on June 14 at at 1AM. He was informed that the reservation was for the next business day but we had rooms available. If he wanted to stay the night he would need to pay for the room himself. At that point he left our premises. Later on the 14t we received a cancellation from [redacted]. He should get refund from [redacted].Sincerely yours,John Y[redacted] President
Response taken by phone: The customer made the reservation, then we received a charge back. This cancelled the reservation.
