Thank you for sharing the recent complaint against Grand View Lodge with us*** (*** ***) did make their reservation with us online, and since we had extra rooms available, we upgraded them to a three bedroom condominiumOur guests always appreciate being upgraded as the accommodation this
guest received had a fireplace and lake-viewThe guest did call about the water the front desk, in which we sent maintenance, as soon as they could get thereUpon arrival of our team, he told them to, quote, ‘get lost’ and shared he expected to pay nothing for their roomAt check-out, he did tell our staff that he was taking us to small claims if we didn’t comp the entire stayThe front desk staff attempted to share that we were trying to fix the complaint, and that he refused to allow usDuring the very civil discussion, he stormed out, walking awayThere wasn’t a request made for a manager to contact, nor a final conversation about if there’d be compensation
