My involvement in the said complaint I thought was over when she called back. I am the one who canceled her order In a professional manor and she was at least professional at this time she was unhappy about the price and the new phone person forgot to let her know the price right before
running her card which is the correct policy and she did slip up there. I thinking the problem was solved left to go home. That is the extent of what we did incorrectly after examining the whole series of events. The other gentleman who got mad about the fact that she used a bank card and the bank was holding her money called back and cursed at everyone who would listen to him. That is not acceptable he did not have any sort of demand that the people answering the phone could rectify and they did give him all the info that he asked for even though when he began cursing and it is our policy to hang up on the person who is doing so so these employees are commended for such action and restraint at that time. How ever when that did not resolve they way he thought it should he made a visit to the restaurant and berated the staff and everyone in the lobby and cursed at everyone. He was asked forcibly to leave or the police would be called no one threatened him with harm unlike he insinuated. I have interviewed both the staff and the patrons at the time of the incident. To the best of my knowledge along with video surveillance in which I did plainly see the woman with the complainant flip the bird to the staff on the way out and a quick response of the same from an employee While it is not acceptable it is understandable because she is young and still learning appropriate behavior in such situations. If nothing else it was a learning experience for the staff and it should over all improve their ability to deal with extraordinary events. his account of the events also pretty well follows what video evidence and other non affiliated witnesses just leaving out the part where he was totally out of control verbally
