Review: I booked a room in June when I was there for a visit.The booking was for a July 2013 stay for two nights at a rate of $239 per night. The resort charged my credit card account in the amount of $265.23. My stay was for two nights arriving on July 17th, departing on July 19th . My mother who was joining me in this visit called the resort prior to our arrival and asked for a better rate as we are returning guests for the past several years. We received a rate of $209. per night over the phone. Once we were ready to check out of the resort. I had requested the clerk to refund my initial payment of $265.23 to the same card and re ring my stay on another card at the rate of $209. per night for only ONE nights stay as my mother and I were spitting the bill. The clerk somehow made some mistakes and the whole transaction got messed up , she said there was a credit to my first credit card and made an adjustment to credit the difference of the nights stay. Then charged me $232.41 twice to my other credit card and another credit card charge of $464.82. I was very confused at the whole transaction and couldn't figure out what was going on my card and what was credited . So, I asked to speak with a manager (Ignacio) whom sat down with me to explain the mess and said I should see some credits to my account. He also said he would send me a clean version of the charges to my email account which I never received. As of today I have yet to receive a phone call from the accounting department as I've requested. I was assured I'd get some help with this mess of a bill and haven't heard a word. Thus far, on my two credit cards I have one credit of $32.82 and four additional charges $265.23 , one for $464.82 and two in the amount of 232.41 this is a total of $1,194.87. I'm not receiving any assistance from the resort with this ongoing billing mess.Can someone PLEASE help me with this as I know I've been over charged . I've like to clear it as soon as possible as my stay was TWO WEEKS ago now.Desired Settlement: Refund my credit cards asap. I would think management may consider a comp stay for one night for the inconvenience of it all but no expectations there.
