Granite Outlet Reviews (3)

Here are the sequence of even for Mr [redacted] :1) Mr [redacted] came into Granite Outlet on 8/4/ He provided our staff the measurements of his kitchen counter-top Our staff calculated the number of granite slabs need for his counter-tops based on the on the measurement he provided (that's the estimate Mr [redacted] attached along with his complaint) 2) He then asked if we do installation, our staff told him we do We also gave him an estimate of the labor cost and told him that if his measurements was a few inches off, it would be fine, but if his measurements was more than a few inches off, the cost of labor will go up and he might have to purchase more materials He agreed and we scheduled him for the installation on 8/26/ (a copy of his invoice is attached along with this response)3) Yesterday, 8/26/ Our installation crew went to Mr [redacted] home to do the installation and measured his existing kitchen counter-tops and found out that he was off on his measurements and told him he needed an extra slab in order to do his counter-top He agreed My crew re-calculated the labor cost and the cost for an additional piece of granite and a sink, which Mr [redacted] didn't even purchase yet for the installation Mr [redacted] looked at the new calculation and even signed the labor contract before work started (We've attached a copy of the contract along with this response) Mr [redacted] also had a copy of the contract too But he didn't attach it along with this complaint because he is not being truthful 4) Mr [redacted] called Granite Outlet and paid for the extra slab of granite and a stainless steel sink with his credit card (a copy of the invoice is attached to this response)5) After the installation, Mr [redacted] wrote a check in the amount of $1,for the labor Response 1) We did install the sink for Mr [redacted] If Mr [redacted] said we didn't, send us a picture to prove it We will tear-out the whole counter-top for him and replace it with a new sink and counter-top installed.Response 2) For the plywood, the installer took it back so we can call you today to refund you the money.Response 3) The adhesive is not hazardous It is epoxy resin It is found all all kitchen counter-tops Mr [redacted] can sue the manufacturer of the epoxy resin.Response 4) We are two separate entity Granite Outlet sells materials only and G.OStones does the installation We don't take deposit for anything He purchased the materials from Granite Outlet and paid that in full He could have cancelled the installation anytime because he didn't pay the installation yet, and he can return the materials to Granite Outlet and get his money back Response 5) If one of our staff went to Mr [redacted] home to measure his counter-tops and gave him that estimate, we would have 100% honored the quote But we didn't Mr [redacted] gave us that measurements He also could have cancel the installation when my installer told him that he need extra piece and extra labor, but he didn't Everything was upfront before we did the installation for Mr [redacted] The attached documents clearly showed that.Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: There are issues the business never addressedI mentioned stains in my complaintThese are clearly visible in the attached photosWhy did the installers wear mask if the adhesive was non toxicAnd how are these people licensed through their regulatory system if they do not speak EnglishIf they are unable to speak, what standard did they meet to qualify for a licenseI will reject the payment made through [redacted] and ask for a inquiry that allowed this damaged quart to be sold as a good productThe installers promised by nodding their head and grunting they would completely install my sink.Which was not the caseI also will inquire with Sacramento Corporation commission why these people are allowed to come into peoples homes and only grunt and smile when asked questionsBut in the meantime I would like to know what is to be done about these stains that I mentioned in my original complaint that were never discussed?

I am rejecting this response because: I had to call ELK Grove Police Department on GO Stone, INC/ Y QU Stone company on October 24, 2014, There install was suppose to tear out the granite they had poorly installedThe installer came in yelling and screaming at 7:pm at night ( He was suppose to be at our house at pm)He started to yell at me and then proceed to yell at my wifeHe demanded that we pay him for " tear out"We did not feel safe in our own homeI told him to leave, the installer then proceed to start yelling in our street I then make to phone call'sI spoke with [redacted] The CEO of the GO Stone CA Contractors # 920815, He proceed to insult me over the phone and told me to call the policeI had Elk Grove Police Department come to our houseThe install then speed off, but police officers were dispatched, officer stopped the installer on a near by cross streetThe officer that came to our house said if these guys came back, it is trespassingI then called [redacted] again when the Police Officer was at our houseHe answered the phone and said, " What do you want now"He c***ged the tone in his voice when he realized he was speaking to an ELk Grove Police OfficerThe Officer told him over the phone that he is in breach of contract and that he needs to not have his so called professional crew show up hours late to job site and treat people like this [redacted] then developed attitude with the police officer, the officer hung the phone up, because [redacted] was not making any rational sense and proceed to say that " We are trying to cheat him" The agreement was per [redacted] (another manager that works there): We pick out new granite at there store We find our own installers ( which we did) There crew that installed, would come back and demo for the horrible job That Friday Night there installers refused, and was very hostile and threateningMy wife was fearful in her own houseI don't know how these guys can run a businessI had to pay my new installer for the tear-out for what they were suppose to doI will be providing you the call log number from the Elk Grove Police Department soonI do not want these installers back in my house ever again, and they should not be installing in people house and intimidating people
