Case#11871662Hello [redacted], Thank you for contacting me about the complaint filed against our business. The complaint was that the customer involved stated they paid $40 of the bill in cash and that we were supposed to run their credit/debit card for the remaining balance of $19.04 for a total of...

$59.04. Customer states that the cashier stole the $40 and ran their card for the entire amount of $59.04. We did talk to the customer before the complaint was filed with the Revdex.com. The customer was very rash and hasty with us and wanted no part of any talking or explaining. The customer only demanded money! We tried to explain to them, as we did the Revdex.com. That we have a filled in credit/debit slip, were the customer not only filled out the slip with the entire total of $59.04 with a pen, and then filled in tip line with $0.00, but also signed their signature to the slip. How are we supposed to know or verify that they paid any cash towards this bill when they themselves filled out the charge slip by hand. I have the copy of the slip and customer refused to acknowledge this. We have been in business for 20+ years and have a great reputation and huge following. Our YELP reviews for the most part are 5 stars. If there was any sort of fraud or stealing going on in our business it would be more than one time. Most of our employees have been with us for 10-20 years. We cannot give back money just because that is what the customer wants, and the only thing that will make them happy, especially when we have a hand written and signed slip from the customer acknowledging the charge to their card. Any bank or institution would say the same thing. As stated the customer was not easy to deal with. So the customer has also taken the action of posting their feelings with other entities besides Revdex.com and in addition has said many horrible things about our business that are not even related to the initial complaint. We have always prided ourselves on customer service and quality. Our integrity is everything to us, for without that we would not be the staple of the community that we are.
