Granite Rocks

I have entered into a contract with this business. The work is not complete. They have refused to return any calls or texts. On 4-15-15, at my home at [redacted] XXXXX, I entered into a contractual agreement with [redacted]/Granite Rocks of Memphis, Tn. I paid $6700.00 by check, made out to [redacted] to begin the work. It also calls for additional payments of $2000.00 when the kitchen is completed at [redacted] and $2000.00 upon completion of the entire job. He has not completed the work and refuses to return any calls or texts for over one month. The contract included the tear out of old cabinets, the purchase and installation of new Kitchen cabinets, trim, granite countertops and sink in my kitchen at this address. It also included the installation of items that I have purchased including the wall tile, oven, gas cooktop and vent hood. The agreement continued to include the purchase and installation of granite countertops and sink in the kitchen next door at [redacted] (This is a duplex I own) And last, the purchase and installation of granite and sink vanity tops in two bathrooms.The tear out described has been done and the work in the kitchen at [redacted] has been done. Nothing else that we agreed upon has been done. [redacted] has refused to return any of my numerous calls or texts. I am living in a horrible situation. My home is in disarray. I cannot afford to pay another contractor to complete my kitchen. Desired SettlementPlease Call Me. Tell me what the difficulty is. And complete the work. If nothing else, I need a refund.
