This customer has beautifully installed kitchen countertops They have a lot of countertop space and it looks gorgeous They are complaining about roughly 2" of a seam that is raised at the most, 1/32" It is a very good seam We went out to the homeowners house and looked at it We told him that we stand by that seam, it's a great seam However, we did send our installer, Don, out to try to give the seam some attention in an effort to appease this customer The customer is expecting an invisible seam that you can't feel That isn't possible with a stone surface The installer did not say "to correct the problem the whole thing has to be replaced." The customer asked the installer 'CAN THE BARTOP COULD BE REPLACED?' That was the question and his answer was yes The installer knows that their seam was very good and well within tolerance He did not say anything to them insinuating that the seam needed to be repaired further or corrected. The customer was told that there was nothing further we could do for the seam Replacing the countertop would still require the bartop to have a seam Given the quality of the seam they are complaining about, it's very likely that the new seam wouldn't be any more acceptable to these customers
