Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: We were never notified that our granite was damaged while being stored and trying to be sold by Granite Pol. We still own a portion of this material as we paid for it. There was never anything discussed that after a certain period of time, our granite would no longer belong to us. We were never even notified that our granite was re-located from *** Granite. Granite Pol did offer us a portion of what we paid for the stone, but we rejected that offer. Granite Pol offered us around $1,to settle the dispute, but the remaining balance of the stone is still $2,231.10. As a consumer, I will not walk away with half that amount when my product was so severely damaged that I could not use it. I do not believe that granite Pol made any effort to sell the stone whatsoever. It is not true that they tried to contact us in any way during this time, even after they re-located our granite. When I emailed granite Pol advising that I contacted *** and they had no record of the slabs, I never received a response from Granite Pol advising what happened, when our stone was re-located or that it was damaged. As I mentioned previously, I tried to call, email and visit Granite Pol numerous times and was not replied to or was told that Siliva was not there when I visited the store. We were never provided any updates as to whether our product was trying to be sold. Only NOW do I come to find out that the stone I still partially own was FURTHER damaged while in the hands of Granite Pol and this correspondence is the FIRST I am hearing of it! I know for certain that our slabs were not damaged at the place I originally purchased them because I hand picked the slabs and fully examined them upon purchase
Sincerely,
Dennis ***

Hello,Customers purchased their own materials from a supplier. According to supplier slabs that were delivered to our shop were the specific once client selected. We as a fabricator have no way of knowing what slabs were selected by customers until material is being delivered to us. While going over...

the layout with costumer, I noticed the yellow spots on different areas of the material which must have originally been there. Customer accused my company of damaging the slab and requested the full refund. Since the supplier of the stone refused to take any responibility I, as a gesture of good will offered to refund 50% of the cost to customer and possible another 50% if I'm able to sell this material. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge mistake for me. I should have never get involved in the purchase that was made between the customer and the supplier. In February 2016 customer contacted me requesting the rest of the money or giving immediately location of where the material is located. I responded to the email right away  providing the location of material and asking to contact me so I can arrange for them to pick up the remaining portion of their material (I already paid for half). Since then I haven't heard back from customer until May 2017 (15 months later) when they decided to finaly show up at the place requesting the material that was no longer there. The person at [redacted] granite could not tell that material has been sold because she had no idea about the situation that accured 15 months before when materioal was actually there. It is not true that it had been sold there! One of the slabs in fact did get demaged there since the customer didn't care to pick it up.  Back in July 2017 I offered customer additional amount of money to put this matter finally to rest. Have not received the response if they take my offer.I have not violated any law and the only mistake I made was paying 50% for material that came defective to our location in the first place. Again, this matter should have been resolved between supplier and buyer only! My company didn't do any damaged to those slabs. We have been working with customers materials for over 10 years now and never had any issues.
