I tried to resolve the situation with the woman who knowing bought a grandfather clock from us that it wasn't working  well and needed repair. I gave her my clock makers number, who went to her house and suggested he clean it  repair it and guarantee it.She called me and told me lies that...

the CLOCK MAKER said the clock was rusted and corroded.(it is clean as a whistle)   The clockmaker told me she was very difficult and unpleasant. He told her  the clock was a very fine one and well worth the money, even though I told her it didn't work well. She called here and got nasty and said I cheated her... NO< I sold her a clock that needs work and she was well aware of it, as I gave her my clock mans number...and told her to call him.  To resolve the situation, I offered her a store credit for the full amount.on any item that is ours (not on consignment) She agreed and sounded happy......   Prior to that she was yelling and screaming and threatening to smear my name......everywhere........but that isnt why I offered to give her a credit...We like to keep people happy...as you see we have no other  complaints against us in 49 years...(not bad?)  Until I got this letter, I thought that it was resolved. The woman has a problem with the truth.. The lied about what Paul said, about What I said,  and what she would or wouldn't do. I know we did the right thing...She didnt.  She said that it wouldn't run in her house but for a few minutes...well, we brought it back here last MONDAY....and it has been running every since....(another one of her lies) She probably  just has buyers remorse.. .She didn't pay 1100. She paid 1000 plus 100 for delivery. ANd nothing for the pick up She lied again about the pick up. She was to call me first thing n the morning and she didnt... She eventually called and said "YOU MUST COME AT5PM) AND WE AGREED. WHEN WE WERE TEN MINUTES LATE SHE CALLED UP SCREAMING WHERE ARE YOU WE HAVE TO LEAVE. SHE ALSO SAID MY RICHY WAS NASTY.  HE HAS BEEN WITH ME 22 YEARS..AND I ONLY GET PRAISE FOR HIM HOW NICE HE IS. AS FASR AS HER SAFTEY AND CONFRONTATIONAL.......I AM ALMOST 73 YEARS OLD......SHE IS USING THIS AS AN ATTACK ON ME PERSOANLY...AND HER SAFTEY...IS NOT AN ISSUE...NEVER WAS....SHE IS CRAZY. OR SMART AS A FOX...KNOWING HOW TI WIN. WE WERE MAYBE TEN MINUTES LATE ( THERE WAS TRAFFIC) SHE IS THE NASTY ONE........ WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 49 YEARS..AND IF I WAS SUCH A BAD GUY, YOU OWULD HAVE  HAD MANY COMPLAINTS...she is pushing this so out of proportion...POLICE? Over the phone, she gladly accepted the store credit....and sounded very happy. But hung up on me because my truck wasn't there at 5PM but ten minutes or more late...She is completely fabricating this entire scenario,lying about EVERYTHING... trashing my store, me and my employee RICHY, Lying about what the CLOCK man said....I am going to speak to my lawyer to see if there is grounds for DEFAMATION suit, as she promised to smear  my name all over the internet  and now the POLICE??? I assure you...that we have been the  most honorable business since 1966.I know that you have no legal jurisdiction of this....If we were the slightest in the wrong, I would have given her a refund...But..all of this is really based on the fact that she just changed her mind, and cant admit that. I am contacting my lweyr today..and even will have a talk with the police, as we have an excellent relationship with them.
