Grant Law Office

Review: This company is very unprofessional. You aren't able to talk to anyone other that whomevery they have answering the phones. They require a payment up front prior to doing anything in which some case this is okay an legit. This one wasn't. My husband wanted to modify our home and I'm not sure where he found this Law office, I highly recommend that no one ever hire this Law office, but he did and he trusted these people to help us and our family in our time of need. At the time my husband found these people we had just had our 2nd child which was very unexpected. Prior I had complications with my pregnancy and was put on bed rest for 2 months prior to our son. Then my husband lost his job. I have wonderful family that helped us for as long as they could with our finances, but that can last so long. Anyways so my husband found this company and trusted them. They have the right people talking to you. They know what to say and how to say it so that you believe them and you trust that they will help you. Well they don't. All of this started in July, they said that once they received our first payment that they would call forward all of our paperwork to our mortgage company to start the process. We paid them in July, our mortgage company didn't hear anything from them until September. This was there first attempt. We were advised to send any letters and phone call anything from our mortgage company to them, we didn't need to be talking to our mortgage company at all. So this is what we did. We also paid them 2 more times. So we got a Foreclosure letter from our mortgage company, we called the law office right away. They told us not to worry fax them that informatio ASAP and they would handle it. This went on for 2 months. we got a foreclosure date, we forward that same information given. "We will handle it." So we trusted them. December the 4th our home foreclosed and sold in auction December 26th. Which we wouldn't have found out if our neighbor didn't tell us. So please didn't use this law office.Desired Settlement: Refund with my credit report fixed as well. I want the my credit back the most. this is what hurts, this and my kids losing there home because someone failed to do there job.
