I was seen by [redacted] for an issue with one of my teeth and he advised me of the treatments available to correct the issue. Before receiving any further treatment his office contacted my insurance company regarding coverage. I was then given a document explaining the total I would owe after insurance. Before signing the document I consulted with the staff making sure that the the insurance company agreed to pay their portion and the total on the document reflected the total amount I would be charged. I was assured of both so I signed the document and paid the amount that was stated in the document.After three months I was contacted by [redacted]'s office explaining I owed an additional amount due to issues with my insurance coverage. I explained I signed an agreement stating what the insurance agreed to pay as well as myself and would not be paying any additional amount.
