. The wedding video is missing the moment my daughter and son-in-law were pronounced husband and wife and the first kiss. It also has some very poor editing. It took over 3 months to get the video back. I spent some time writing a detailed written response. [redacted]'s response, " I will have our editor make the corrections & get you out 3 new DVD's asap. I am sorry about the tape situation."

For [redacted] to have been in the business for 30 years, the tape shouldn't have ran out at the moment of us giving us our vows. She missed the first kiss, and to us thats what we paid her for. Her solution was to throw pictures in the gap to fill it but it is a solid minute gone. You cant add that part in once you miss it and we'll never have that part recorded. She never asked us or offered us any reimbursement. You don't go to the movies to see a movie with no climax. Thats how our video is.

the price was 1200. purchase date 8/22/2012

I filmed this wedding personally. After the wedding the mother of the bride called me & said they all loved the video. They didn't notice until later that the kiss was missing. I originally gave them a discount off the cost because they were on a strict budget & they were referred by a former employee of my company. We offer 2 cameras for the ceremony to ensure perfection as if someone or something happens out of our control we will have something to cut to. They chose not to take this option. I had a 10 to 20 second pause when the tape ran out, I quickly changed it . I checked with the officiant prior to the ceremony as to how long it would be & I had plenty of tape. It ran much longer than he said. I did not miss them introducing them and also got every other second of the ceremony & all of the highlights of the reception. For them to ask for a 50 percent refund over 20 seconds is ludicrous. They had the opportunity to buy a second camera for the ceremony (as an insurance policy), I told them at the time that there is a chance that something could get missed or blocked & that is the chance they took. The timing of this was unfortunate but I did everything in my power to take care of the problem & not miss anything else. There is nothing in my control that I could have done to prevent this. I have over 20 years of experience shooting so my video is far & above what one individual can normally do. I also had my editor fully edit & chapter this DVD as well.
