The only reason why I and accepting this response it because this issue is being handled personally by JeepThe only conclusion I can come up with for Grapevine Dodge not catching this issue is that they figured the car was brand new and there shouldn't be any issues, So they figured the point inspections they provided would be adequateThere is no way my cars check engine and transmission lift should have come on two days after I left the dealershipI will be recommending that my company and other friends and family members not go to grapevine dodge for any vehicles or servicesI will say that *** *** was very understanding and apologized that his maitiance team dropped the ball on this issue and he handled it accordinglyIf it wasn't for *** I don't think this issue would have been accordinglyJeep is working on exstending the transmission and engine warranty on my vehicle

We gave this customer a 3 yr tire and wheel warranty and a 5 year oil change Package. The customer is satisfied.   [redacted] Controller

On January 21,2017, Ms[redacted] brought her vehicle to us for a concern of when shifting into drive from park the vehicle jerks, rough. we assigned the vehicle to our transmission technician to diagnose. He test drove the vehicle and found that it had characteristics of a 9 speed automatic...

transmission, but did not find an issue with the vehicle. He further inspected the vehicle by placing it on the rack, and checked the transmission fluid level and checked the condition of the fluid to see if it showed any signs of being burnt or low. He found no other issues at that time. According to Ms. [redacted] she had issues after she picked her vehicle up from us while driving they found a transmission side cover gasket leaking, which they repaired. I do understand Ms. [redacted] frustration with this event, but it would be to our benefit to repair the leak under warranty if we had seen it before the vehicle left us. In an effort to satisfy the customer, our Service Manager, Mr. [redacted] provided a Maintenance Contract to Ms. [redacted] for 8 oil changes to be performed for the customer at no charge.
