December 8, Good afternoon Ms [redacted] With regards to Revdex.com Complaint [redacted] From [redacted] *** regarding the repair issues with his vehicle, we have conducted a thorough review of the repair history to his vehicleIn June 2016, Mr*** brought his vehicle to Grapevine Ford Lincoln for serviceRepairs were made to parts we found that had failed and were covered by an aftermarket 3rd party warrantyAs part of the repair process, they sent out an inspector to verify the failures and the recommended repairsOnly the parts that had failed were covered by the warrantyIt has been months since the original repairThe concern with the engine now is a different concern not related to the original repairAt this time, we have found no incompetence from our technician for the repairs that have been madeAs of Wednesday, 12/6/17, Mr [redacted] has elected to take his vehicle to another Ford store for a second opinionWe have waived the diagnosis and tear down fees of $to lessen the financial burden to the customerPlease see attached the details of the issues and subsequent repairsRespectfully, Grapevine Ford Lincoln Tell us why here

The Grapevine Ford dealership continued to be unprofessional even after I gave them time to get this issue resolvedYes they did pay for a rental car for a week but that was only because they did wrong by selling our vehicle, that did not resolve the issueWe would like some sort of compensation rather it being a used car equivalent to the car that they sold, without asking us to pay anythingI have already notified the attorney General office and they stated that Grapevine Ford had no right to sell my car until the loan was final Sincerely, [redacted]

With regards to Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted] from [redacted] in which she rejects Grapevine Ford Lincoln’s initial response to her complaint, as stated earlier, the approval for her loan had been overturned at a later date when the bank deemed that certain stipulations had not been metBasically, [redacted] was not employed at the time he completed the credit application although he had indicated that he was employedFurthermore, the bank re-verified that [redacted] became unemployed days prior to filling out the credit application As a result, the bank overturned the approval As for the value of their travehicle, the [redacted] have already received the refund check – personally picked it up from the dealership on Monday, 2/1/ Respectfully, [redacted]

January 13, Good evening Ms*** With regards to Revdex.com Complaint [redacted] from [redacted] and [redacted] regarding the monthly payments for the vehicle purchased from Grapevine Ford Lincoln, Mrs [redacted] did not understand why the amount quoted at the time of the sale was different from the amount expected by the financial institutionTherefore, one of our Finance Producers contacted Mr [redacted] and explained the legitimate cause for the difference - the sales tax for Texas is different from that of AlabamaHe informed Mr [redacted] that in order to address this, Grapevine Ford Lincoln would refund the difference in the sales taxes to Mr [redacted] 's bank and the refund would be reflected in the principleMr [redacted] was pleased with the explanation and action to be takenWe appreciate that the [redacted] s chose to purchase their vehicle from Grapevine Ford Lincoln and look forward to providing service for them in the futureAdditionally, we appreciate having been given the opportunity to clarify the issue and encourage them to contact our Customer Loyalty Director for any future questions or issues that may ariseRespectfully, [redacted] ***Grapevine Ford Lincoln

September 23, Good evening [redacted] *** With regards to Revdex.com complaint # [redacted] from [redacted] *** regarding the repairs of her pre-owned Ford F150, we have reviewed the customer’s concerns and find that our records indicate that we have not seen the vehicle in our service department since the time of reconditioning on February 18, at 74,milesWe have no records indicating dealership knowledge of the concerns between the time of purchase and nowUnfortunately, the concerns associated with the Ms [redacted] vehicle are outside of any internal parameters of coverage we would have and we are not finding any coverages externally through a mechanical service contract Since there is no warranty to cover the repairs, we would be willing to assess some type of customer loyalty discount to the repairs due to Ms [redacted] purchase of the vehicle from Grapevine Ford LincolnWe appreciate that Ms [redacted] chose to purchase her vehicle from Grapevine Ford Lincoln and suggest that she reach out to our Service Director to see what we can do to help themRespectfully, Grapevine Ford Lincoln

Friday, 11-4-16 Good evening Ms* ***With regards to Revdex.com Complaint *** from *** ** *** regarding repairs to her vehicle and disagreement with the financial portion of her deal, we are sorry that Ms*** feels that Grapevine Ford Lincoln fell short on our agreement with her
However, our Used Car Director and Finance Director both have worked diligently with her on numerous occasions to explain any misunderstandings and to resolve any issues.Our Finance Director has been in constant communication with Ms*** over the past few days and as of today, has resolved her finance issues to her satisfaction.We appreciate that Ms*** chose to purchase her vehicle from Grapevine Ford LincolnWe value her business and look forward to serving her at our dealership in the future.Respectfully,*** ***Grapevine Ford Lincoln

At no time did Grapevine Ford offer to find a like vehicle at a like price and in fact, raised the price of the vehicle AFTER a verbal contract was in place to purchase the vehicle. Grapevine Ford continues to act in a "less than honorable way"

With regards to Revdex.com Complaint # *** from
John *** in which he states that Grapevine Ford Lincoln promised in writing
to provide him “a cash value for his trade and will now not honor it”, please allow
me to clarify the situation
*** *** initially came
to our dealership to
purchase a vehicle based on an agreed upon priceHowever, *** *** then
decided that the terms were not agreeable and left the storeThe week that
followed was spent attempting to work out the terms with himHowever, during
that time, the vehicle in question was sold to another customer at which point,
Grapevine Ford Lincoln offered to find *** *** a similar vehicle and would
honor the originally agreed upon price
Unfortunately, we were not able to find a similar
vehicle, so *** *** requested that Grapevine Ford Lincoln purchase his
vehicle for cashWe agreed to purchase the vehicle, but offered an amount somewhat
less than the travalueThe operating word here is “trade-in”, meaning,
that if *** *** were to have traded his vehicle to purchase another vehicle
from Grapevine Ford Lincoln, then we would have honored the amount upon which
we agreedHowever, because *** *** did not trade in his vehicle to purchase
another one and only wanted to sell his vehicle for cash, then the amount
offered was somewhat less that the travalue
Please note that our Managing Partner
attempted to reach *** ***, but *** *** did not return his callBecause
Grapevine Ford Lincoln was unable to find a similar vehicle for *** ***, we were
not able to do business him
