Absolutely disgusted and disappointed with our ENTIRE experience from day one to present day (still continuing.)
These are just a few concerns I have on top of additional charges we did not cause.
Far from even a mediocre stay. We signed a 12 month lease and broke our contract within 6 months due to the amount of issues we came across. From the management staff lacking communication skills about health risks to the actual health risks we were experiencing. Starting off our stay for the first 3 months almost consecutively (weekly) we had pest control out doing the most. From finding roaches in our appliances to our cabinets we felt disgusted!! We are a clean family and would expect to see a few pests FROM TIME TO TIME but waking up every morning having to double check coffee pots and cereal bowls for pests/droppings. DISGUSTING. From there it was a constant battle with management to get the job done correctly rather than consistently sending out the same person to do the same job over and over again. Also, having the concerns of your private information being left out on the counters of your personal domain doesn’t mean your info is private. Grey star had a 3rd party fire inspection company to come in and test sprinkler systems and alarms. An employee from greystar as a representative accompanied 2 individuals from 3rd party to our apartment and allowed the vendor to read personal information regarding address, license number, birth date, social security number etc. (which I have video evidence of) and the only consequences was not allowing greystars representative in our apartment unless we were home (That didn’t stick.) Another issue we faced was when they decided to have another 3rd party come in and replace the roofs. After 2 weeks (everyday/night) I would walk my dog and pick up anywhere between 7 nails and 20 EACH WALK. Not every day EACH WALK. That is a HUGE health concern especially when I emailed management about this issue and them stating they would have the vendors walk the property and I’m up after themselves. My self or my pet could have stepped on any one of the HUNDREDS of rusty nails laying in the grass around ALL of the apartment buildings. So upon moving out we received a finalized bill for utilities and a carpet cleaning fee. We’ve been disputing the carpet fees for over a month now to be told were being charged MORE for damages we could literally not see unless having a carpet company come and inspect the carpet prior to us moving in. I’m sure I left out SEVERAL details that would make our nightmare stay seem much worse than I just described. Stay away from 2499 and Greystar communities. The employees are unpleasantly unhelpful and their corporate collections team seems crooked. Even when you find THEIR wordage and THEIR policies on THEIR website and use them AGAINST THEM they will still fight you and say you’re wrong. So when I say be careful of where you stay, BE CAREFUL. There are obviously management companies out there just to get your money and call you a liar. I will also be posting this to Revdex.com in hopes to help steer this failing company back in the right direction and actually taking a stand for their residents who pay their bills.

May you please help me to resolve a dispute amount between myself and *** 99. I started renting the apartment # ***, *** from the month of July-2014. It was known by *** apartments at that time, and the management changed multiple times during my stay till October-2019. I paid 200$ as deposit and 40$ for the remote as security when I signed the lease in 2014-July. Since the management was keep on changing, I was not at all happy to stay there as well, and they have decided to do an occupied renovation for the unit #*** and asked me to move to unit #***. So the lease was extended to October-2019. I got a home in October 2019 and decided to move out. I gave back all the keys I have, and the remote. I was waiting for a check Amount of 240$ from them, waited for long, send numerous emails, but no response from them. Now I am getting an email from saying that I owe 160$ for cleaning. Can you please help me to get my check even after deducting their cleaning fees.
