Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/06/30) */
The original synthetic grass was installed on January 30, 31 and February 1, 2013 at [redacted] home. After [redacted] called [redacted] in March, 2013, to say that the grass was wrinkling, [redacted] looked at the grass. He then called the...

manufacture of the grass as it appeared to be a manufacture defect. They asked for pictures and the pictures were sent to them. Eventually the manufacture agreed it was their problem and they would replace it. The second grass was installed on June 18 and 20, 2013. We told them that a maintenance would be done free of charge within a year if it was requested. We never heard from them.
On February 11, 2015, [redacted] called [redacted] to say the grass was wrinkling in some places. [redacted] told her that the company had been sold but that he would have his Dad, Bill, come and look at it when he was able to. Bill went and looked the first part of April and saw a couple of small areas that had some wrinkles and needed to be stretched and nailed again. Bill told her that he would have to find someone to do this because the workers we had were with the new owners of the company. She insisted on a date but he told her he has no control over when he could find someone to do the work.
Bill called her in May, not her calling him, to say he had not forgot about her and was still waiting for a couple of workers to contact him about the repair work. That did not make her happy.
There needs to be a minor stretching and nailing done and the problem area did not appear to be a large area. We still intend to do this when some workers are available even though there is no longer a warranty for installation. The warranty for the turf itself remains in effect because that is a factory warranty.
Grass Creations has always provided excellent customer service to the best of our ability and we are sorry to hear that [redacted] thinks otherwise.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/07/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
When I called [redacted] to see when the maintenance could be done, was told his equipment was on a job in Fresno, when they were done would come by. Never heard from him.
[redacted] never told me he would have to find workers to do the job. He said when he had a crew available, which led me to believe he was still involved with the co. It's 3 months now since Bill looked at the grass still no work has been done. So yes I'm not very happy.
I do appreciate the offer to repair the grass, but when will this be?
I feel [redacted] and [redacted] can repair the problem themselves, or agree to reimburse me the amount another company would charge to stretch and nail down the grass.

Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2015/07/22) */
The company who bought the business has agreed to repair the problem since they have the equipment and man power to do this. They have already spoke with [redacted] and either have or will be doing the work soon.
We hope this resolves the issue.
