As per our website, grasspacker.com, the original shipping of the product is listed as being included in the cost of $329.95--this is made visible on the home page In terms of the conversation had with this client via phone, when asked about the possibility of return, it was made clear to him that the original shipping cost cannot and would not be returned, since that cost is given to a third party (UPS), and my company does not profit from it in any way When the catcher was returned, I reimbursed him fully for the cost of the catcher, but I did not reimburse him the cost of original shipping, again, because this is a third party's cost In terms of the $listed in the complaint, this is a number that has never been discussed The facts are these: the cost of the catcher is $ I reimbursed the client $ The remaining $is the original cost of shipping via UPS (please see attached scan) In order to resolve and end this matter, I am willing to reimburse him the exact cost of original shipping, $ This is the compromise we are willing to offer
I order the grass packer. Its looks very well made not much to wear out made of very thick plastic with nice handles to put it on and empty it. The grasspacker works really well to pick up leaves and grass , very happy with purchase. I also have a neighbor that look at it a couple of days ago and I think hes going to order one also. In terms of the $90 listed in the complaint, this is a number that has never been discussed. The facts are these: the cost of the catcher is $329.95. I reimbursed the client $269.41. The remaining $60.54 is the original cost of shipping via UPS (please see attached scan). In order to resolve and end this matter, I am willing to reimburse him the exact cost of original shipping, $60.54. This is the compromise we are willing to offer.
Review: I purchased a Grass Packer universal grass catcher for my Walker Mower! Before making the purchased I talked with [redacted] at Grass Packer to ensured that it would work and I would have no problem! It didn't work and I returned it at my expense and they deducted original shipping cost from my return payment. My problem is that there is no discussion of return deduction on there website [redacted]! As a consumer I had to pay $90.00 to return it and they deducted $90.00 there cost to ship it to me! I believe that should have been disclosed via there site and/or in our dissussion! Had it been disclosed I would have reconsider weather making the purchased due to the fact that it is costing me $180 for a product that didn't work!Desired Settlement: I am requesting that [redacted] reimburse the $90 ship to me cost since it was not disclosed, I had conversation with [redacted] to make sure that unit would work on my mower and for the fact that I paid the return shipping cost.
