I am rejecting
this response because:The response is mostly lies.#is 100% not true - I was told by the owner and then again by Kyle that I had to pay in advance and was never given the opportunity to gauge the amount of wood. When Kyle arrived he and his helper had said that the other truck broke down, and that is why I was not getting all of the wood.4A) - The wood was never put on the driveway.4b) The truck was backed up directly to where the wood was put, and wheelbarrows were never used. The agreement was $for two cords of wood stacked. $for cord of wood is a horrible deal and is twice the going rate stacked. What Greg D*** does not realize is that I have electronic proof and witnesses that prove that these are all lies. Including witnesses during the phone calls with him, and text messages from Kyle, my neighbors who verify that the truck was backed up, and Kyle himself and the other worker.I spoke with Kyle and he originally agreed to bring the rest of the wood I owed, and then the next day when I called him I was told to talk to his boss and he could no longer help.I spoke directly with Gregg and asked for the rest of the wood or a refund. He said that he couldn't do it because he already spent the money, and if I wanted more wood he would fill the bed of my truck to make up for it. He said that I didn't get cords of wood because he couldn't keep it in stock and that I should just enjoy what I received and forget about it. He then stated that I should sue him for the money instead. I also sent him a picture of the not quite even cord stacked. Here is the current going rate from a competitor that guarantees the amount you receive - $for a minimum of cubic feet (a cord is 128cubic feet)This was a scam from the beginning and I made the mistake to fall into the trap of paying upfront, and trying to save a few $$ Cord Seasoned Firewood ------------------------------------------ $ - Cord Delivered approxcubic feet

Review: I spoke with the company and they offered 4 cords of wood for $780.

I then spoke with an employee (Kyle) and he said that he could only bring 2 cords of wood for $400 on day 1, and they would bring the next 2 cords the following day.

When Kyle arrived, he said he had to be paid upfront (my mistake) for the two cords.

After they delivered the wood, it was then measured and was less than 1 cord.

I spoke with Kyle and he said that I would get 3 cords delivered the next day.

The next day came and went, so I called him directly and I was told that he can't do anything and I needed to speak to his boss.

After speaking with his boss - I was informed, that it was a mistake and he will not fix it. He then stated that I am better off suing him as he will not fix the issue.

He also said that he had already spent the money that I paid, and there was no way he could refund me on the mistake.Desired Settlement: A simple refund of $200 would be the best option - otherwise there will be a civil suit as I see that this is not a new issue, and the company has been taking advantage of people for a long time by asking for money upfront.
