Complaint involves a motored vehicle specifically a *** *** *** *** (last six numbers of VIN: ***) which entered our Service Department for repair of an inoperative power window and to complete tow separate Chrysler recalls involving a node module and a reprogramming of an
FDCM. All of the above items were completed. Shortly after said vehicle was picked up by the customer, we were notified by telephone that a portion of the dashboard information display was inoperative: specifically, the StereoBluetooth and Back up CameraThe customer, in our opinion, alleges this "disconnection" of the aforementioned features was connected to the work we/the technician performed on the vehicleThese incidents do happen; failure of equipment while a customer's vehicle is in our possession, though fortunately, infrequentlyAs a Service Manager, I investigated this allegation and in talking with the technician who performed the work, we both agreed there were no commonality with this new problem reported by the customerI share *** ** frustration in this matter but because the vehicle is significantly aged (2008) there is absolutely no warranty on the vehicle that would ever cover repair of this new problemif there was anything I could do to assist him, being one of our customers, I certainly would be eager to do so, especially only days before Christmas

These are the notes I have on file. Grava tries to take care of our customers but, sometimes we run into problems that arise such as having to order parts or trying to find the issue of the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response must suffice to resolve the issue in reference to complaint #[redacted]. This incident occurred a month ago and, knowing that Grava had already made no attempt to rectify the issue, I've since paid $900+ to have a new unit installed. Whether it matters at all to an individual dealership, this is the third [redacted] that I've owned and it will now likely be my last.I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.

We do show this vehicle being in our shop. He said it was brought to our shop by his mechanic. I would need the name of the company it came from to look it up. I would need more info to try to help the customer.Thank you,[redacted]
