Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I have spoken with [redacted] and it has resulted in further worrying discrepancies. These discrepancies are as follows:1. The postmark on the hand-addressed envelope containing my check for the gold was dated January 27, 2017. This refutes his claims of having mailed out my check approximately two full weeks prior and puts in grave doubt the actual date he sold my gold. This gives further credence to the possibility he sold my gold at a higher price than what was given me.2. [redacted] has not forwarded to me the proper documentation regarding quantities, dates, his net profits, and third party receipts of the sales of my precious metals as requested in my effort to remedy his business discrepancies. Rather, he submitted a truncated report which neglected the key requested details as described above. [redacted] needs to produce his accounting records in full regarding the sale of my assets including third-party receipts which at this point is the only method to extricate and clear his name, and reflect in detail why he lied to me.
Regards,
[redacted]

[redacted] contacted me, [redacted] regarding her desire to sell her gold and silver coins. During this discussion regarding the sale of her gold and silver coins I advised her the market is fluctuating at this time and she may want to consider holding off selling as the market may increase. She confirmed during this conversation that she was not interested in watching the market anymore and would like to proceed and sell the remainder of her gold and silver coins that day (January 5th, 2017) and she confirmed that she wanted to lock in the precious metals market price that day. I requested an email confirmation from [redacted] to approve the precious metal lock price and a confirmation email was received by me confirming the lock the same day (January 5th, 2017).[redacted] was given the lock price agreed upon during our discussion and written in the confirmation email. Also, stated in the confirmation email was payments would be processed the following week. [redacted] confirmed that both the silver and gold payments were received and payments have cleared banking as well.Previously, I have worked with [redacted] to sell her precious metal coins and we have not had issues during our transactions. When there is a locked price confirmed agreement on the sale of precious metals; that is the final price. The final lock price confirmed agreement can’t be adjusted because the market goes up or down; this procedure is protocol for the buying and selling of precious metals throughout the industry. To address [redacted]’s request for documentation of the third party to whom we sold her gold and silver coins to and the date of the sale. As a dealer this information is private information for our business and for the third party to whom the silver and gold coins were sold to. The sale of her gold and silver coins after the date of her sale have nothing to do with her transaction. Bottomline, we agreed on a locked price and she was paid on the locked price.I understand that [redacted] may be frustrated as she may have purchased the precious metal coins for a higher price than what she sold them for. We do our best to offer general advice regarding the precious metal market to our clients as they buy and sell precious metals; however, the market fluctuates and there is risk involved and the final decision is made by the client. As a courtesy, prior to the sale of her precious metal coins, I stored her precious metal coins in our insured vault at no charge while she was in the process of moving out of state. When I learned of [redacted]’s concerns regarding this sale, I did attempt to call her to discuss her concerns and left a message for her. Our company has been in business over 24 years serving clients with fine jewelry, fine watches and precious metals. This is the first time we have had a concern with the buying and selling of precious metals. We hope this further explanation offers clarity and understanding to [redacted]’s concerns and she realizes that we value the business relationship and wish her the best as we do all our clients.
