The issue is we paid a total of $to Gravois Auto Repair to fix an issue with our Yukon, and we're still experiencing the EXACT same problem with absolutely no improvementeven after taking it back to them times We've dealt with Gravois Auto Repair for several years, without an issue I'm not sure if they've gotten too big, or too busy, but this time it has been a nightmare The security light in our car stays on and the system chimes, even after the keys are removed This eventually drains the battery, causing the car not to start They seem like nice people, but I asked times for the owner to call meand received no response Going to the Revdex.com is our final resort before seeking another remedy My wife and I are retired senior citizens This was a large sum of money to pay, especially for ZERO results

We took a newly purchased Chevrolet Impala in for a list of services we thought were a good idea to ensure a good running condition of the old carThe car had almost miles on itAmong that list was a transmission service, since included changing the filter and fluidNobody at the repair shop advise us that servicing the transmission on an older car should never be done and could case a transmission breakdown I spent $1,for all the services performed on the car that day The transmission went out in rush hour traffic 1,miles later, and the car had to be towed to the nearest repair shopWhen I mentioned that I didn't understand how it could break so quickly after having it serviced, I was told that it was the transmission service that caused the breakdown Didn't I know to never service an old transmission? I took my suburban in for a check engine light and a service stabilitrac warningThey told me I needed a new motor because of low compression!!! I had another mechanic look at it and it ended up being ONE bad spark plug! You would think they would've seen that when they pulled the plug to do the compression test that they recommend! I will never go back there

Absolutely terrible service, poor attitudes and absolutely no professional staff on deck They broke my cousin's van, yelled at him for it when he confronted them, threatened to beat us up and then kicked me out when I confronted them on that altercation If I could rate them zero stars I would DO NOT go there!

I had my Mazda towed to Gravois Auto Repair for a no start, no crank problemThey originally diagnosed the problem as a bad starterThey contacted me and I said to go ahead and replaceI was later contacted that a short within the main wiring harness caused a surge and fried the starterThey went ahead and removed the main wiring harness, fuse block and everything above to get this harness out of the carThey tried to order an after market harness since they indicated Mazda no longer made replacement parts Over the course of weeks they tried to order an after market harness 2x, but each time what was received was not correctIn the mean time, my car was in pieces in the Gravois shopThey contacted me that they could not find a replacement bundleIt is obvious they did not have the expertise to diagnose or efficiently repair my carI had the car towed to another shop where I have to pay them to put the car back together what Gravois took apart and did not put back togethe

My Ford Escape's brake pedal/system was not workingWhen I hit the pedal the car did not stopThe brake system needed to be flushed/bled
After I dropped my car off on Monday morning at 6/20/@ 8:AM, the greeter who took my car said they "Would get to it late today, or early tomorrow." I fully intended that they would give me back a safe and driveable carGravois Auto Repair never once called me with a progress report stating the repairs that they would proceed with on the vehicleI was completely in the dark with the work they were doing to my vehicle When they said my vehicle was ready, the Manager could not give me a clear explanation of what was done to my vehicleWhen I arrived to pick up my vehicle 6/21/@ 1:30PM, I was charged $291, for a replacement bleeder valve, hours of labor, and brake fluid These parts at an auto store cost less than $ So that means they are charging $93/hr for labor In addition, I couldn't find my car in their owned lotT

Yes Mr*** did drop his vehicle off 10/12/at 1:
I called *** I believe around 2:00pm and we called again at 5:pm because we close at 6:00pm
We have postings on the
internet that show our hours, as well as a sign in front windo, and on our business cardsAs seen on the photos I have supplied you
His phone was not taking messages at the timeIf he was pressed for time with his car I'm confused on why he would wait hrs to wait for a phone call and not call and check on his vehicle
I have over customers come in a day at our facility, and I do not go out to check to see if customers take their carsIf a customer had work done on a vehicle then the vehicle sits on our lot until its paid forHowever Mr*** took his car without paying and I chose not to press charges for taking goods that was performed on his vehicle, and he did not pay for at time of vehicle being picked up
I did my job and called the # he asked us to callI apologize if he did not see or receive it on his end, But the fact of the matter is that we did and oil change on his car that he requested to be done and he failed to follow thru until it convenient for him to pick up his car
As far as the police, the officer and the owner do not know each other, and she explained to him in a very professional way that he cant pick up his car without paying for the work that was done to his vehicleThe allegation he is making is ridiculous
I will not refund for the work that was done on the vehicle, and I did apologize to the customerThat's all I can do-
