On July 7,I took my Acadia in for work & upon leaving my truck my air conditioner worked greatWhen I picked my truck up my air conditioner wasn't workingI called *** *** back that day & no one answeredI called back twice on July 8thI took my truck back thinking it
was being fixed & upon picking my truck up the air work for a short period of timeI called back to the dealer & was told to bring it back a second time after then I was told my air conditioner did go there but they are not responsible for itThey called it a freak accident!

First of all I want to apologize for the horrible experienceI have been the GM of this store for 1/years and with the company for yearsThese actions in no way reflect the type of business I try to operate each and every dayOne part that confuses me is that once you fill out your
application for credit, nowhere does it state the.number of times One's bureau can be pulled We as the dealer, would pull it once, but once we send it to 2-lenders(shopping your loan for the best terms),then the lender pulls their preferred bureau before making a decision over whether to extend credit or not

Thank you for the opportunity to respondThis loan was approved until the finance company reached out to the customer to do their welcome callAt that point, she stated that she was forced to buy a warranty so the bank rejected the loan due to that statementIn our opinion this was stated due to
buyers remorseAfter the loan was turned down she refused to return the car or any of our calls or textsWe have records of all attempts to communicate with her. As a result of the customers refusal to communicate with us after the day mark we were forced to hire a recovery service to retrieve our vehicleWe do not feel that she will be out the $because when she purchases her next vehicle the state will refund the prorated portionWe occurred a $expense to recover our vehicleWe regret that we were not allowed to communicate with her and offer solutions

I am rejecting this response because: This is a lie and I have proof that I received this car on October 20, 2017 and was contacted by the sales person on 11/1017 at my pl;ace off employment and never called my home or made any contact to notify me by mail. They kept running my credit bringing my score down by 60 points when I bought a paper in with approval for a vehicle. I believe this was a reliable company but they continue to lie to cover themselves. I don't think that this is that first time conducting business like this. I contacted the salesman on 11/16/17 to pick up the vehicle from my home.  He knew where I lived as that he brought my truck home for me. I can get certified text and messages from my job to prove that I never  tried to keep this vehicle. If that was the case I would have never cleaned up and out to return. He didn't come to get it but tried to get me to meet him behind Olive Garden and I told him I couldn't walk. They did not have to come and tow the truck I even told the finance manager to come and get the truck. I would never had bought a tag if they had not given me the papers. I will like to continue with whatever is need and I will contact my cell phone company for certified e-mail proving I asked them to pick up the truck on 11/16/17 and the truck was never driven again after that contact.  The company could always know where the truck was at because salesman registered it with On-star, so how was I trying to steal it. All I asked from them was my money for purchasing a tag because they gave me false hope and information that this was my truck. I have the sales paperwork and date of my first payment.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I have also been in contact with the GM of the dealership and he is keeping updated as to what is going on.

Thank you for the opportunity to look into this situation and respond. We have reached out to our customer and have a plan in place to resolve these issues. We will provide transpiration while the vehicle is being repaired. Also we will make the first and second payment for our customer for the...

inconvenience and send a $200 check to customer for any late fees incurred due to late registration. Vehicle will be detailed and filled with a tank of gas once it is ready to be picked up. While we strive for excellent customer service we fell short in this case and hope that our resolution will help to restore the trust in our dealership.  Thank you again for the opportunity to correct this situation and respond.

I am rejecting this response because: Once again I told the salesman only to run my application twice. All that I am asking is for you to erase this off of my credit. I have never been treated the way your company has treated me. I gave gray daniels a chance not once but twice. I was lied to on multiple occasions. I qualified for loans. My credit score was high enough to get what I asked for. I traded for a vehicle in Oxford a couple of days ago. I even got better financing through them. If I need to publish the text messages from your salesman and screen shots from cars.com or graydaniels website I will.

To whom receives this response-Upon receiving this complaint,I was somewhat familiar with the situation. One variable the accuser is casually failing to mention is: The manager originally involved with the sale of her car was HER BROTHER(who is no longer with the company). In addition, she is failing...

to mention the dozens of times we tried to reach her and explain to her there were some issues the lender was having with proceeding to finalize her contract, she avoided ours and the lenders attempts to communicate. When she finally did decide to answer/return our phone call, the time that passed was such that the lender would not offer financing. The accuser called our dealership,Mr [redacted] receives the call-She used profanity and acted very rude. I never expect a member of our team to be talked to in the manner in which she did. It was only after we had received our car back & upon her brother's suggestion:that the accuser decided to open lines of communication. It clearly states on the Purchase Agreement that the customer has a certain length of time to provide acceptable stipulations that may be required by the lender and that she must do everything possible to assist Gray-Daniels in satisfying the lenders requirements. She did neither.

Mr. [redacted]
Good morning,
On March 10, 2016, at 3:30 p.m., I [redacted], Visited Gray-[redacted]iels Chevrolet on 6060 I-55 North Frontage Road, Jackson, Mississippi, for the purpose of buying a 2011 GMC Yukon Denali Xl. During that time, I was assisted by Mr. [redacted], who disclosed that I was purchasing a vehicle that had gone through a detailed point inspection without any problems. My wife and took the Yukon for a short test drive with Mr. [redacted] in the vehicle. We stopped at the Exxon on County Line Road so that Mr. [redacted] could put gas in the vehicle, it was on empty. Then we returned to the Gray-[redacted]iels Chevrolet to fill out the paper work. My wife told Mr. [redacted] about the things that were wrong with the Yukon and he said that they would have them repaired. I was never told that the Yukon had any other problem after asking if there were anything wrong with the vehicle.
We were turned over to the Finance Manager, [redacted], by Mr. [redacted]. We talked with the Finance Manager about the 2011 Yukon and he said that they could not put a vehicle on the road that was not safe. He also tried to sale us Gap insurance but we declined. We discussed about getting a warranty that would cover certain things on the Yukon. We also declined that at first. He kept talking to us about the warranty and how he bought his wife a vehicle and bought the warranty for it and how it came in handy after they had to have some things repaired. Then he said wait a minute and went up stairs and came back with a 4 Star/ 4 Star plus Warranty Solutions. He was pushing for us to buy this coverage. So we decided to buy it. We finished signing all the paper work and had to leave because we had to get to Bible Study in Bovina, MS at the [redacted]. We left the Yukon to have the service park assist repaired and to repair and service the air bag. We were given a loner vehicle to drive until our vehicle was repaired. We were told that it might take until Monday to repair it.
I was called by Mr. [redacted] on Friday and told that the vehicle was ready. My wife and I arrived later that evening to pick the vehicle up and to complete the process and at which time we paid the down payment of $1200 in a check. We received the key and the paper work and left. We made one stop at the mall before heading home. While heading home, we decided to get something to eat so we headed to Chick-fil-a in Clinton, Ms. I notice a sound coming for the front of the vehicle and I thought that in was just water off the street. We arrived at Chick-fil-a and ordered our food to go. After heading home I began to hear the noise again. My wife asked me what that noise was. I said I do not know. It was late by that time so I told her that I will take it and get it checked out in the morning.
On March 12, 2016, I carried it to Firestone to get it checked out. I arrived at Firestone about 8:49 am. Firestone took a look at it and found these problems with the vehicle. Bearing and Seals (Front-Left), Shocks and struts needed to be replaced (leaking), Tie Rod Ends (Left-Inner), and Alignment Service. The total cost for these repairs are $3774.59. These problems were not told to us by Gray-[redacted]iel Chevrolet after asking if there was anything wrong with it. Mr. [redacted] said no, in great shape
After getting this bad news I immediately returned to Gray-[redacted]iels Chevrolet and I was very upset. I arrived there about 12: 03 am. I spoke to Mr. [redacted] about the problems and he turned me over to Mr. [redacted]. We spoke about the problems and in not so many words; he said that it was my problem because I bought the vehicle. He asked me if I drove the vehicle and I said yes. He acted like it was my fault that I did not see that beforehand. I explained to him that I have had the vehicle less than 24 hours and that I have not even paid my first note on it and now I suppose to spend almost $4,000 dollars on repairs. Then he said to me, didn’t you get an extended warranty on the vehicle. Why is the warranty a issue when the vehicle was suppose to be check for issues like this? That got me even more upset and I told him that he will be speaking to my lawyer about this. I had to plead with him to at least check the vehicle out. He also said to me that Firestone is out to make money and that they are going to find things like this. So I told him if that is the way that it was going to be, then I do not even want the vehicle because it is not safe to drive. I told him that I was going to leave it here. He tried to talk me into bringing it back on Monday. He also said we act like a use car is supposed to be like a new car. I was about to leave with the vehicle, but the more I thought about how he talked to me the more my blood boiled.
I talked with Mr. [redacted] just before I left and told him how I did not appreciate Mr. [redacted] talking to me like I was an it. I called my wife to pick me up and I left the Yukon on the Gray-[redacted]iels Chevrolet lot.
I returned to Gray-[redacted]iels on March 14, 2016 around 9:40 am some time later I talked with Mr. [redacted]. He received the keys to the Yukon and said that he was going to have it inspected. Before I left the building I spoke with Mr. [redacted] and let him know how I felt about the Yukon. It is going to cost almost $4,000 dollars to have it repaired, and $2,600 of that is for the shocks and struts repair. He replied, what?
At about 10:21 am the same day, Mr. [redacted] called and said that he was heading to the shop to see what they found and would call my back.
At about 10:23 am Mr. [redacted] called back to inform me that the tech said that the bearing and seals needed to be replaced and that the other thing was fine. He also stated that they over looked it in the inspection. I asked him about the tie rod ends on the left inner of the vehicle. He stated that it was fine according to the tech. I asked Mr. [redacted] about the shocks and struts, he said that they were only going to repair the things that would make the car safe to drive. I then asked him about the noise that I heard while I was driving the vehicle. He stated after the repairs were made that he was going to test drive it. I said ok.
The cost to repair the bearing and seal was a total of $465.49, leaving me $3004.50 to have the Yukon repaired.
I called Mr. [redacted] back about 3:47 pm the same day because he never got back with me about the Yukon and the repairs that was made nor about the test drive. He informed me that the repairs were done and I could come and pick up the vehicle. I asked him if he had test drove the vehicle and he said he had not. He first said that he was going to test drive it, but I told him that it does not make noise until you have driven the vehicle for about 15 to 20 minutes. He then informed me that he could not drive it that far because he was the only manager there and could not be gone that long. Then he stated that he would try to get a tech to test drive it, then he tells me to come and get the vehicle. Again I said ok. I did not go get the vehicle. After getting off the phone with Mr. [redacted], I called the Gray-[redacted]iels Dealership about 4:00 pm and ask to speak with the General Manger (Mr. [redacted]). I was informed by the Receptionist (Ms [redacted]) that Mr. [redacted] was not there and took a message. I let her know that all I want is for the vehicle to be repaired. I Called back again about 4:59 pm on March 14, 2016 to reiterate that all I want is the Yukon repaired.
Did not hear back from Mr. [redacted], so I went to Gray-[redacted]iels Chevrolet At about 10:10 am on Tuesday March 15, 2016 and asked to speak to him and Ms [redacted] said that he was not in and that I need an appointment to see him. I ask her if I could make one and she said that he would have to set up the appointment. Then I ask to speak with Mr. [redacted], she went to see if he could meet with me. She returned in a few minutes and said that he was with a customer and did not know how long it would take. I ask her to have Mr. [redacted] to call me on my cell phone.
As of 7:46 am on March 16, 2016, I have not heard from Mr. [redacted] or from Mr. [redacted].
Called on March 17, 2016 to speak with Mr. [redacted] and again I were given the run around and the same old speech. So again, I did not hear from Mr. [redacted] at all that day.
Called again on March 18, 2016 and spoke with Mr. [redacted] and told him that I was coming to pick up my vehicle. About 1:45 pm I picked up the vehicle and no communication was between Mr. [redacted] and me. Drove the vehicle home and it was still making the same noise that started the whole issue with the vehicle. Called Mr. [redacted] back and told him that the vehicle is still doing the same thing. Mr. [redacted] asked if I had talked with Mr. [redacted] about the problems, and I told him that he has not returned any of my calls. We came to the conclusion that I would bring the vehicle back to get it checked out on Monday.
On Saturday March 19, 2016 about 7:28 am, I took the vehicle to get the oil changed and to have the bearing and seal checked since Mr. [redacted] told me that it had been changed. It is hard to believe what they say since they have not been truthful about the Yukon already. Just want to make sure that there are not other major problems that are looming in the dark or behind things that a car dealer uses to hide problems with vehicles.
Called Mr. [redacted] on Monday, March 21, 2016 @ 10: 58 about bringing to Vehicle back in for another look at the problems. Mr. [redacted] gave me the number to Mr. [redacted]. I called to make an appointment and only got a recording. I left a message for him to call me back and I am waiting on a call back.
Mr. [redacted] called back from the service department of Gray [redacted]iels Chevrolet and we spoke briefly about the problems and he scheduled an appointment @ 9 am Tuesday morning. He was very polite about the whole situation.
I still have not heard from the GM, ([redacted]) of Gray Daniels Chevrolet as of Monday 21, 2011 @ 11:32 am.
I took the vehicle @ 9 am on March 22, 2011 and Mr. [redacted] and he test drove the vehicle around the car lot and said that the noise was coming from the back of the vehicle. He also noticed that a noise was coming from the steering column. I left the vehicle with Mr. [redacted].
Did not hear back from Mr. [redacted] by the time for me to get off work so I called him about 4: 23 pm and got his answering machine.
Called Mr. [redacted] at 11:08 am on March 23, 2016, and he informed me that the back Struts are burst and need to be replaced. He also said that they have done all that they can do because that is not a safety issue. I said to him that that was a problem before I bought the vehicle and it should have been taken care of already. I stated again that it was not a safety and that is all that he could say about that. Told me that I need to speak to Mr. [redacted] and that he has the keys to the vehicle. I informed him that I have already talked to Mr. [redacted] about the issue and that we do not see it the same way and that I have tried to talk with Mr. [redacted] and he has not returned my calls.
Picked up Yukon from Gray-Daniels Chevrolet at about 11:49 am from Mr. [redacted] and I tried to give him a letter to let them know of my intent and my next steps. He said that he was not able to take the letter from me. Mr. [redacted] was a witness to this fact.
Called Mr. [redacted] again and was set to his extension, but his answering machine picked up and I left a message for him to please call me about this very important issue.
As a result of nefarious business practices that allowed an unsafe vehicle on the road by the Gray-Daniel Chevy car dealership, I am requesting that the vehicle be repaired or another automobile of the same make, model, miles and year. If this isn’t possible I am requesting my down payment be reimbursed and that the trade-in is returned or the value that was allotted be given instead. Failure to agree to my request will result in potential litigation and complaints made to the Revdex.com, attorney general office for the state of Mississippi, consumer protection agency and Federal Trade Commission. I will also place this vehicle on YouTube and other social Medias.
