***READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING AN [redacted] LOCK OR A TODSON PRODUCT [redacted] Just TERRIBLEThis company does NOT stand behind their productsWe bought a cable lock ( [redacted] to lock up our propane tank to our camper, as well as an expensive bike we were giftedWe are literally STUCK at the campsiteWe haven't even owned the lock for months and it will not unlockOf course, we didn't bring many tools on this trip and this happened on a Sunday where all the stores are closed due to the fact we are staying outside a very small town in MontanaCalled Todson Monday and all they could offer us is shipping us a new lockThey held NO responsibility for the defectiveness of this lockFirst, WE ARE NOT HOMEHOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO RECEIVE THE NEW LOCK AND SECOND, HOW THE HECK ARE WE SUPPOSE TO GET HOME IF OUR CAMPER IS BASICALLY LOCKED TO THE CAMPSITEJust go buy a toolReally?!?! So we have to spend even more money!!! You won't reimburse us for the faulty lock or the tool needed to cut it offSERIOUSLY?! How can companies get away with this!!! I can't imagine if this happened to someone in am isolated or emergency situationTHIS IS BEYOND RIDICULOUSWe have little money to our name, so going out and buying a tool means we will have to do a trade off for something we need, like food or gas or water, at the end of the dayYOUR COMPANY should be HELD RESPONSIBLE for FAULTY productsBefore we even called, we tried a hatchet, a drill, an wrench, pliers, basically all the tools we had withI can't even imagine of weif would of injured ourselves trying to get the lock outI am so thankful we filled the propane tank the day before otherwise we would be screwed!!!! I contacted them months ago regarding a broken mount bracket for my bike lockThis is a mount that has broken times in the last few years and times in less than a yearI was originally told they would sent out a new bracket under the lifetime warrantySince then, I have contacted them several more times, only to be told "We are waiting...they should be here next week." Always "next week" which came and arrived over a month agoMeanwhile, I am left having to carry my heavy bike lock since I can't mount itThe warranty is great...them not honoring it, and not figuring out a way to satisfy a customer after two months is not
My partner and I purchased a lock with advertisement stating it was 85/security level My bicycle was properly secured with the lock to an unmovable city bike rack and the bike was stolen The packaging states there is anti-theft protection with registration When I went to the website within one week of purchasing the lock, the only option for registration in the top menu is "key registration" - I registered Nothing within the obvious areas of the site (top header or anywhere within the form) said I needed to do more for Anti-theft registration After I registered the key, there was no confirmation email nor was there any notification stating that this is separate from the anti-theft protection Now that the bike is gone, I've filed a police report and contacted the Todson to go about proper methods of getting an investigation and bicycle refund, but Todson's representative (***) they said I did not register for the anti-theft registration properly This company and
