The customer that has written this complaint has changed her story multiple timesShe originally contacted the store a week after the "incident" by somehow acquiring the personal number of the manager, not the store phoneThe manager
immediately took action and offered compensation for the cookie she purchased as well as moreThe manager offered every assistance in the matter that could have been offeredShe declined this offer by never showing up to receive said compensation and the manager never heard from her againFrom there, her story has changed multiple times, starting with the story told to the manager, the lie told to the corporate office (please contact if in question), and the health department (store passed with 100%, with no violations, please contact if in question)The employee the customer is referring to no longer works for the company and the manager never once said anything negative about the employeeAlso, the store does not even carry *** on its premise (as shown in the health department report)The manager/owner has done hours of research on this matter (rechecking store video surveillance, transaction reports, talking to the customer, and talking to said employee and receiving a written statement from the employee about what actually happened)

My story has not changed onceI called the mall office to obtain the telephone number of the manager of the storeThe number that they gave me was the number that I called to contact the managerThe manger did in fact call his employee a derogatory name as I had him on speaker and have witnessesThe manager never offered me a refundI would like a refund for the iced cookie and a refund for the money his employee panhandled us forIt was $in allI do not want this company to have my addressIf they will grant the refund they can send it to the mall office and I will pick it upSo ridiculous how a company would accuse a customer of fabricating such a storyMy daughter and I wanted to help the clerk and then realized that she had lied to us and then we became very ill after the cookie we ateThis is very bad form and makes for very bad businessIf you read my report my story has never changed

Upon hearing the original complaint, the customer was asked how she would like to be compensatedThe customer originally said she would like to receive replacement cookies for the ones she had purchased and was granted that requestThe customer failed to show and receive that offerA refund is fine of the original amount of $(see receipt below)Any tip amount given to the employee was at the customers discretion, not the storesThe refund can be issued via picking up at the store, or being mailed to the address (via certified mail) that was provided to the Revdex.comOn behalf of the store, we would still like to apologize for any inconvenienceUnfortunately though, the employee in question no longer works for the companyPlease respond with how you would like your refund issued, for it can not be left with the mall office since they are not an affiliate to the brand

In response to the proposed resolution by the Great American Cookie Co., they claim that I accepted another cookie and not a refundMy daughter and I had to seek medical care as we were made very sick by the iced cookie that we ate thereI would never accept another cookie from this storeAlso, I was lied to and panhandled by their now former employee and did not just "tip" herThat is why I requested all of my money back as we were treated with absolutely no respect from this companySo an issue that could have been resolved with an apology, disciplining their employee, and a refund now has cost them revenue as I and my family and friends will take our business to *** *** or elsewhereWe just wanted to be treated with honesty and respect and this company accused me of changing my story and refused to discipline an employee who lied to us to panhandle money from us and basically did not care at all about my family or future business from usI do not want this company to have my address as I think they are quite dishonest and practice bad businessThe Great American Cookie CoCan keep my $and know that they have lost good solid customers and business from their horrible treatment of usPlease let this complaint remain in their public record as I want to warn their potential customers of how badly the Great American Cookie Cotreats their customers
