Stay away! " Run" Rick the owner will steal your money! They rob Peter to pay Paul. Job has been undone and ongoing since 9-19-18. He was paid in full and a job not complete. He stated to the local police department that he was going to mail a refund check out in 2- 3 weeks. Still nothing! Excuse after excuse! Mary Rose cuts the check, he is sick, he is traveling ect. Well good news for us... lawyer in tow, BBB investigation going on, local police department report completed, and local Crime Investigators with local News stations also have been notified. As of today! No check.. STAY AWAY... I'd give a 0 star if it was an option... your unhappy customer! Jpeterson

The roofers damaged the facia on the left and right side of home. Both repair attempts were installed improperly & unprofessional apperance of repair. On 6/21/16 the fascia on both sides of home were damaged by Great American Roofers, when Shingles were installed on the roof. Their roofers attempted to repair the right side of home's fascia by cutting a piece of fascia "of a differnt color and size" and placing it on the home which later fell to the ground. The left side of the home's fascia was left dented by the ladder they used. [redacted] at Great American was called several times before a repairman was sent. Someone came out in August and took picturs and assured us of proper repairs. On 9/6/16 a repairman came and improperly installed new fascia over old facia(on leftside of home) with screws installed 'in the middle of facia" along the entire side of left side of home and not "underneath it" for proper installation. The fascia is not laid properly which will allows water to seep between the fascia to rot the wood underneath it. The right side of home is intalled with screws in the :middle of the fascia" and two sections cut out and laid on top. And last, a large hole is exposed between the fascia and soffit due to poor workmanship. The appearance on the Left and Right side of home's fascia is unproffessionally installed and is "NOT the Original Appearance of the Home's Facia" BEFORE Great American Roofing came to install the shingles.Desired SettlementRemove the orignianl fascia from the Left and Right side of home. Use "4" 10-foot sheets of fascia on each side of the home(Left side/Right side) for a proper and neat installation. Lay the fascia properly to avoid water from seeping underneath it. Secure the fascia by screwing it into place "underneath" the fascia, using the "screw slots intalled" under the facia. Tuck the beige soffit under the fascia leaving no gapping holes between fascia and soffit. Material can be purchased from [redacted]Business Response [redacted]Document Attached[redacted]In our contract, it should be noted with the Revdex.com that the homeowners both signed and acknowledged they understood that, while we try our best to minimize the possibility of incurring any possible damage, due to the rough nature of the roof repairs, damage can likely occur sometimes and the company cannot be held liable for any damages. Most Companies would simply reattach the damaged 4 ft section that fell off if they did anything at all. (see attached picture) That being said, our company always does the right thing. In this case, their particular fascia metal could not be matched at any of the many well-known material suppliers that we deal with. The original piece of metal was reinstalled until we could find a reasonable match. The homeowner eventually found the material at a small supply house. Any other company would have simply replaced the 4 foot section that fell off. However we agreed with the home owner to replace not just the 4 ft section but the facia on both gables in their entirety at our expense. Clearly above and beyond the call of duty. (see attached picture) The metal was installed just this past weekend, per the manufacturers specifications to insure a proper and secure hold over time. What the homeowner is requesting here, (which by the way, was not communicated to our office at all up until today) is simply a cosmetic preference, which is fine, but may not hold for as long as the current recommended method.) Also, homeowner was going on vacation and could not be present during the first part of their fascia installation, which would have been helpful, especially if they had any special requests that would mean going outside of what the manufacturer install specifications are, specifically referencing to the installing techniques when securing the pieces together to insure a proper hold, and instead go with what the felt they, cosmetically maybe would have liked a little better, which would have not have been a problem at all, and will not be, as we are more than happy, which they know, to make the adjustments when we come back to complete the last few steps to wrap it up and have them back in tip-top shape. There will never be a construction related company without obstacles to overcome throughout the way. The thing that determines the good companies out there from the bad ones, is solely their willingness to address and overcome these obstacles if and when they occur.

Company did repair from hail. I now have 5 leaks in my new roof. They wont return calls or emails. My inside of house is,wet and leaking Insurance claim from hail damage. Spent about 5000.00 left with leaky roof after new roof was put on. Bathroom vent leaving. Seam, cap leaking. This, was done in april they won't return calls or mllemailsDesired SettlementNeed roof replaced again on half of house. Another company came and looked will charge 2500.00 Business Response Dear Revdex.com,In response to Mr. [redacted] claim, I will respond with the following. This entire claim is false. There are no leaks on this roof that we can find. Not one. We have sent four qualified tradesmen to this house, on six different occasions, each within 24 hours of this alleged leak being reported. We have responded immediately, set up an appointment to meet the homeowner, only to have the homeowner not be there on any of the times we arranged, nor have they answered our calls or the door for our guys to gain access to the home in an attempt to find any evidence of a leak. We have inspected the exterior of the roof multiple times, have found no evidence of any leak having occurred after we completed their roof repair. Furthermore, we have compared pictures taken by the adjuster at the original insurance inspection, to the photos taken the one time we were finally allowed to gain access to the interior of the home. Both sets of photos showed to be identical. It was then made known to us that this damage to their interior was preexisting and denied for coverage under their claim based on their policy exclusions. The homeowner immediately quit answering our phone calls, only have to have the daughter excuse their lack of response following our discovery of the preexiseting damage, by claiming that none of the [redacted] contact phone numbers worked anymore, not the home number or cell on file, on which we have left numerous messages on several occasions, yet have not received a response since that time. The person that they claim is a contractor is a relative of the [redacted], which they made known to our labor manager. In conclusion, this claim has no merit and has been confirmed by the [redacted] insurance carrier that all of the damage to the interior of the [redacted] home is preexisting, unaddressed damage from an old leak, prior to their recent roof repair. The [redacted] were denied coverage on their interior damage and it is our opinion that they are clearly trying to falsify a leak in order to make us pay for the repairs to damage incurred prior to their hail damage claim.
