Please accept this letter as our response to the above referenced ID Current Great Beginnings Learning Center families received an email dated January 7, outlining our Summer Camp enrollment policy In the email, it was stated that current families would be allowed to reserve a spot for summer camp when a $non-refundable fee was paid The $deposit would be applied towards the summer camp fees which had not been determined at the time the email was sent Regarding being asked to purchase additional summer camp t-shirts All families that enroll in summer camp and pay the camp fees receive one summer camp t-shirt Our staff member was merely connecting with all the parents of summer camp children on if they wanted to purchase additional t-shirts We offer this to parents so they do not have to do laundry on a nightly basis Summer camp children are required to wear their summer camp t-shirt for all out of center field trips Our program averages 3-days out of center per week And, with regards to our rate increases We indeed had not increased our tuition rates in two years We increased our rates 2/29/by $per week and will increase again on 8/1/ However, our school age rate is not increasing on 8/1/ And so we do not go so long between increases, we instituted a $5.00/week increase every January We have some of the lowest weekly tuition rates in StCharles and are extremely proud of the value of the care and education we provide the children entrusted in our cares Should you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us Sincerely, [redacted] Manager
