The day that the customers firewood was delivered it was rainingIt rained several days prior to delivery and several days after deliveryWe delivered the firewood and dumped it on the customers driveway outsideThe customer was present during delivery, visually inspected the wood, accepted and
paid for the firewoodWe have made several attempts to resolve the customers complaintHe mentioned how he is storing the wood and we offered him solutions to dry out the wood since it had been exposed to rain and we advised him that storing wet wood in a confined space with no airflow will not allow it to dry and cause fungal growthWe have offered the customer a full refund upon return of the wood and he has denied this offerWe provided him with several different options of storing and drying the wood so it will burn properly in which he has not acknowledgedThe customer has mentioned "mold" in his complaintThe mold was not present upon delivery and is a direct result of improper storageThe customer has had the wood for weeks and we cannot confirm how the wood has been taken care of after deliveryAll of our firewood is properly seasoned, but it is stored outside (as with all companies that sell firewood), so it is exposed to the elementsUpon delivery, we explained to the customer (as we do all of our firewood customers) that since it has been raining and was forecasted to continue raining, that in order for the wood to burn efficiently, it will need to be properly dried and stored out of the elements

I was never told the fire wood was sold "as-is", I was told this was seasoned and ready to use fire wood. If the firewood needs to be dried out for another year then this is not ready to use. Storage has nothing to do with this. This complaint is because you offer a product delivered for $165, you accepted the return of the product and require me to deliver it back to you. I do not own a trailer big enough to deliver this. If you offer a product delivered, and as a business you accept a return, then you need to pick the item back up from your customer. That simple. You offered a return, now you change your mind. Very poor business, you certainly are not taking care of your customer with service after the sale.
