After picking out the frames I wanted and placing my order for my glasses, I was told to email a picture of my current prescriptionI paid for my glasses and waited for a responseIt took them weeks to get back to meI received a phone call saying that they were not able to make my glasses with my current prescription and to have my optometrist send them an old prescription from 2-years agoI then decided to call my optometrist and tell him that they needed my old prescription[redacted] He also told me he was not going to send them my old perscription because my perscription had changed so much over the yearsAfter considering what he said I then decided to go back to great glasses and try to get a refundI will mention I had just bought another pair of glasses from my optometrist thinking I would get my refund back from great glassesI talked to the lady at the desk, which had helped me pick out my glassesShe was very friendly and helpfulShe told me they don't do refunds and that they're machines aren't set up for thatI don't understand how a machine is not set up for refundsI also don't understand how I can't get a refund if they haven't even cut the lenses or had the right perscription in the first placeLong story short, my optometrist was nice enough to give me my refund back, but now I need to go get my vision tested at great glasses in order for them to get a close enough perscriptionI'm worried the glasses I bought will be of poor quality and that they may wreck my eyes over time not being the perscription I should actually be wearingI strongly advise to avoid this place if you don't want to be ripped off and stuck with glasses of poor qualityBasically you get what you pay forfor glasses are never a good idea and are always way more money and hassle than what what you bargained for

After pre-purchasing pairs of glasses and taking home 2, I had struggled more than a few times with the progressives pair and with their suggestion that my (then current) glasses had a prism and perhaps my new prescription was incorrect as it didn't convert right, sought out my optometrist (whom told me my prescription WAS accurate and that that I should be dealing with a more professional vendor whom knew the calculations)I also took it one step further and consulted an ophthalmologist who concurred Returning, another employee noted that she agreed with the doctor and the prescription was accurate- just not applied properly and so I took home pair of progressives and a pair of closer vision for computerA little while ago, I went in to have the progressives checked as the sight line areas were in the wrong spotsThe (new manager?) told me that the lenses were tilted in the frames and adjusted them, advising me to try them out for a while before coming in again to pick up my

Staff was friendlyStore was cleanfor offer for $is misleadingEverything that you should have is extra, such as, making the glasses to your own eye doctors prescription and anti reflective coatingQuality of lenses seems very poorI can not see clearly with these new glasses from themThere seems to be a haze, especially in sunlightThese new glasses are useless for activities that require clear distance vision, such as golfing, boating or driving a vehicleWhen I complained, the owner took an aggressive approach with meWhile in the store, I witnessed other customers who were complaining and also felt trapped by thisSummary...if you want pairs of poor quality glasses that are OK for use indoors only, for about $400, then this is the place for you

This "business" does not stand behind its productThe frames are cheap and snap in halfI've had break in a very short period of timeThe "manager" at the Maple Ridge location wanted $to replace the cheap frame after the second breakShe told me they can't afford to replace these *** frames for freeSo much for a warrantyWhen asked to speak to her boss she instructed me to call someone at the Vancouver location, when I phoned I was told that this individual is on vacationShe passed the buck and couldn't care less about a very unhappy customer*** *** I advise everyone to think twice before spending any money with these people
