Thank you for bringing this situation to my attention.  I reviewed the service history with this account, and first, it is important to note that the motor issue did not manifest itself to our technicians until failure finally occurred.  When the motor failed, high current caused...

the starting relay to heat up, and disfigure, causing a mechanical bind.  When a motor like this fails, the elevator is out of service.On the day that the motor failed, our technician was told that the customer had reset the tripped main breaker "100 times".  My thought would be, that if this was truly the case, why would someone risk fire or damage to expensive electrical equipment by "just resetting a tripped breaker", and not call out for service?  Experience with hydraulic elevators such as this one, shows that sometimes motors will intermittently short out, causing a breaker to trip, and then when the motor cools down, the short clears, and the motor will operate for awhile until it finally completes the failure process.We have been working with this customer to resolve payment issues, and we were promised payment.  After promised dates came and went, we turned the account over to a collection agency.  Once the client was turned over to collections, they filed this report with Revdex.com.  If the client had concerns about their invoice, or the service, they should have contacted their account representative or our office to set up a meeting.
