Sorry for the delayWe contacted the lab company ( [redacted] ) to find out why they billed Ms [redacted] We have a contract with them and they are to honor all of our patients as if they are IN NETWORKThe person who handles our account was out of the office until this past FridayThis has been resolved, they have removed all charges for her & she should not receive another bill from [redacted] If she does, she may contact our office and we will be happy to help her.Dr [redacted] was actually quite upset that this happened because he stated [redacted] is such a nice person!!Thank you! We have reviewed Mary M [redacted] complaintPoint of Care testing for her Urine drug screen must be done in our office which resulted in a $charge to her 2xShe was then able to have her complete Urine Drug Screen done elsewhereThe patient did in fact have a procedure done in our office on 06/19/2015, a left ilio-inguinal block which was done under ultrasound guidance for needle placementHer balance for this was $The patient currently has a balance of $which includes her finance charges which we will write off the entire balance for herAll documentation is in her chart for her procedure and ultrasound, there was no fraud committedThank you

The lab that was used was [redacted] Tox - [redacted] LaboratoriesWe are no longer using them due to many insurance issues with our patientsThe patient did pay for a past balance (Oct2014), the latest balance was written off by the company [redacted] Tox was contacted re: this and they will not reimburse any funds to the patientUnfortunately, when Dr [redacted] orders a urine tox screen, it is done right away in our office (part of pain management protocol)At that time that was the Urine Toxicology Company he was usingWe are sorry that she had to pay that money, at this point there is nothing we can doWe no longer have any kind of relationship with this company and they have declined reimbursement.All patients sign a contract to have urine tox screens as needed at the discretion of the physician.Thank you!

   I just got the email 2 days ago maybe someone else opened it as I have no lock on my emails. So I am sorry about that.   I stated that in the response from the doctor office, the doctors office contacted [redacted] TOX and that the company removed the charges. First of all the lab was [redacted] LABORATORIES not [redacted] Tox. I had to pay a bill in the amount of $238.84 and I did have to pay the bill. I paid it in 2 payments, check # 1012 for $83.83 and check# 1020 for $154.84. I don't know why they are misleading you about this.[redacted] Laboratories 1-844-[redacted] and my account is # [redacted]. The patient currently has a balance of $25.00 which includes her finance charges which we will write off the entire balance for her. All documentation is in her chart for her procedure and ultrasound, there was no fraud committed.
