In response to the complaint from Ms [redacted] : I believe her complaint to be frivolous and without warrantI believe I did everything I could possibly do, and much more than I was required, to alleviate her dissatisfaction with her purchaseThe additional items she listed in her complaint (i.e., transfer of title, etc..) were never addressed to me prior to her writing to your organization.Ms [redacted] was upset with us from the beginningIt took longer than we anticipated to deliver the car to her because the Subaru garage did a full service and frankly, it did take longer than we expectedAfter the full service, she then decided to have the car inspected by a mechanic of her choiceThe car checked out to her satisfaction and she picked up the car and was very pleasedHowever, during the whole purchase process she continued to complain and berate us about the service taking too long and for that reason alone, remained angryWe politely informed her that she was under no obligation to purchase this car from us and we would refund herpurchase, but she declined and took delivery of the carApproximately weeks after the purchase, and over miles of driving, the check engine light came onAt the same time, the engine began to misfireShe brought the car to us, and even though it was under full warranty, she was very upsetWe sent the car to a Subaru tech/garage and the code for engine misfire came upFurther inspection revealed a bad plug wire, which had been chewed on by a mouseThe damage to the plug wire happened after the car was sold since we had just completed the major service and detailed the carKeep in mind, her mechanic inspected the car prior to purchase and no sign of mice was found at that time. The plug wire was replaced and the engine cleaned again and of course it ran beautifullyHowever, she was as dissatisfied then as she was from the beginning and we again offered to give her a full refund, which she finally acceptedWe resold the car nearly immediately, and the new owner is very happy with this car.It was difficult to communicate with Ms [redacted] without accusations and blameBut we hope she finds the perfect car and the check engine light never comes onBut, just in case, if your check engine light does come on, don't panic! Usually, it's something minor.Peace and love to everyone!

transfer of title, etc..) were never addressed to me prior to her writing to your organization.Ms [redacted] was upset with us from the beginning. It took longer than we anticipated to deliver the car to her because the Subaru garage did a full service and frankly, it did take longer than we expected. After the full service, she then decided to have the car inspected by a mechanic of her choice. The car checked out to her satisfaction and she picked up the car and was very pleased. However, during the whole purchase process she continued to complain and berate us about the service taking too long and for that reason alone, remained angry. We politely informed her that she was under no obligation to purchase this car from us and we would refund herpurchase, but she declined and took delivery of the car. Approximately 3 weeks after the purchase, and over 700 miles of driving, the check engine light came on. At the same time, the engine began to misfire. She brought the car to us, and even though it was under full warranty, she was very upset. We sent the car to a Subaru tech/garage and the code for engine misfire came up. Further inspection revealed a bad plug wire, which had been chewed on by a mouse. The damage to the plug wire happened after the car was sold since we had just completed the major service and detailed the car. Keep in mind, her mechanic inspected the car prior to purchase and no sign of mice was found at that time. The plug wire was replaced and the engine cleaned again and of course it ran beautifully. However, she was as dissatisfied then as she was from the beginning and we again offered to give her a full refund, which she finally accepted. We resold the car nearly immediately, and the new owner is very happy with this car.It was difficult to communicate with Ms [redacted] without accusations and blame. But we hope she finds the perfect car and the check engine light never comes on. But, just in case, if your check engine light does come on, don't panic!
