first of all I never even wanted a gold warranty. your dealer just jammed it in and I did the survey before knowing you guys screwed me over. I am not paying this car. you guys need to own up to ur mistake and pay this loan back because I read the other reviews and there has been alot of complaints. I read a woman did a trade in and you never paid it back. my dad was very furious and he even called on march 10 asking why did ur dealer take advantage of me. I am not paying one cent towards this car.

In response to the above listed complaint, please see the attached buyer’s agreement that was signed by the purchaser upon agreement of terms.  It clearly states “all rebates and incentives to dealer if applicable” under the agreed price of $17385.  On the...

subsequent buyer’s order that was printed upon completion of the purchase it fully breaks out that rebate and how we arrived at the purchase price/taxes. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the customer WAS charged $86.50 more in sales tax than was originally agreed upon on the preliminary buyers order.  As an accommodation, we have sent him a refund check for that amount.  Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions regarding this matter.Respectfully,[redacted]

In response to claims made by [redacted], Great Neck Nissan promised only to pay [redacted]’s remaining payments on his Honda lease. Additionally, we agreed to make physical repairs to the exterior of the vehicle and cover any physical damage bill that may occur. At no time were any over mileage charges...

discussed or promised. We have reached out to [redacted] on numerous occasions, but he refuses to acknowledge that the over mileage charges are his responsibility. Upon further review of all paper work in the deal, there is no documentation or agreement regarding mileage.
We do try to accommodate our customer's individual needs and did address his additional payments and repairs as agreed.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any further concerns.

1) Great Neck Nissan does not require a form as [redacted] is describing.  Maybe he as something that we signed to verify his claim?
2) The $4000 was a combination of tax, 1st month, bank fee and cap cost reduction.  All of it is clearly disclosed on his lease contract.
3) Nissan corporation DOES NOT advertise that they will pay "minor damages, mileage and remaining balance" on any of their ads.  That would be impossible since every customer's situation is different.
4) If there is a month balance due to Honda as a result of a delay on the part of Great Neck Nissan, we WILL issue a check upon receipt of a statement.
5) Great Neck Nissan is not responsible for personal items left in vehicles.  Although our employees made every attempt to assist [redacted] to retrieve his EZ Pass, we were not able to locate it.  Since it is HIS EZ Pass, we recommend that he contact the Port Authority to replace it.  Great Neck Nissan CANNOT be responsible for subsequent parking expenses.
6) This complaint is a duplicate to #4.
7) Complaint addressed above.
8) Phil and Jordan have been interviewed regarding this complaint and verified all information stated above.
9) Great Neck Nissan has offered to make a concession regarding this complaint.  Any further threats are unnecessary and confrontational.

To whom it may concern:
The buyers order that Great Neck Nissan submitted to the Revdex.com is the preliminary one which is written by the salesperson and signed by both the customer and the sales manager upon agreement of terms.  The printed buyers order/bill of sale/finance agreement is done upon finalization of the terms with the dealership Business/Finance Manager.  At no time was any information withheld from [redacted] nor was he rushed to sign any documents.
This customer has already approached Great Neck Nissan for a refund concerning mileage on his vehicle after we upgraded his wheels per his request.  He had complained that the mileage required to road test his wheels was unacceptable and wanted a rebate.
This complaint is currently being handled by Revdex.com, NYS Attorney General and Nissan Consumer Affairs.  We have replied to all the agencies with the same documentation.

Great Neck Nissan

After careful review of the customer's complaint, we would first like to apologize for any miscommunication between our dealership and [redacted].  Great Neck Nissan prides itself on customer satisfaction and is committed to resolving any customer complaints in a fair and reasonable...

manner.  To that end, we are issuing a full refund in the amount of $3195 to Nissan Motor Acceptance on [redacted]'s behalf. This will reflect a decrease in the principal amount that was originally borrowed.  This will not adjust her monthly payment, but will shorten her term. Additionally, please find a copy of the 84 month/100,000 mile extended service contract that [redacted] wishes to keep as well as a copy of the cancellation request form for the maintenance plan. As a courtesy, we have also upgraded [redacted] to the Great Neck Nissan Gold VIP card which entitles her to two years of oil changes at no charge at Great Neck Nissan, three years of tire and rim protection, three years of environmental protection and one year of car washes (once per month) at participating carwashes.  We genuinely hope this gesture will assist in forging a fresh start between Great Neck Nissan and [redacted].   Respectfully,   Salvatore A[redacted] General Sales Manager GREAT NECK NISSAN [redacted] Tell us why here...

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Great Neck Nissan never provided me with a "preliminary" buyers order.  In this day of “cut and paste” technology, my signature on such document should offer no persuasive evidence of the document's authenticity. If your office requests so, I will provide a copy of any specified document given to me from the dealer. I am re-submitting the only "Buyers Order" I received from Great Neck Nissan, which clearly shows $18,385.00 as the vehicle price ("agreed price" before offset from trade-in). Contrary to the dealer's assertion that it did not withhold any information, and as indicated in my complaint, the dealer improperly withheld informing me of their $1,000 bonus cash-back incentive BEFORE my agreeing to a price, deceitfully obscured in its documents the rebate from my detection by imbedding the incentive into confusing and inconsistent figures and then hastily put the documents before me to sign. Believing that the figures listed in the documents would reflect our verbally agreed purchase price ($17,385.00), I only checked the totals, which I found at the time to be approximately correct since I was not yet aware of the $1,000 incentive. Subsequently, upon further examination of documents provided to me from Great Neck Nissan, I then became aware of the rebate. Again, it should be noted that since Nissan credits the dealer in the amount of the incentive, the dealer will unjustly receive a $1,000 profit (which was to benefit the consumer, NOT the dealer) because, effectually, the dealer didn't lower the purchase price, since it artificially raised it $1,000 to $18,385.00 BEFORE applying the rebate for the same amount. The subject of my complaint filed with your bureau pertains to the rebate and overpaid sales tax, the latter, due to the dealer's manipulation of its figures in order to account for the listed artificial agreed purchase price of $18,385.00 instead of the actual agreed purchase price of $17,385.00. However, since Great Neck Nissan is raising the matter of my having complained to them about excess mileage on the vehicle, it is appropriate that I briefly respond to this. When I returned home from the dealer in the new car, before turning off the ignition, I observed the instrument panel and noticed that it was set to a function other than the odometer. Upon setting it to read the odometer, I was surprised to see a reading of 170 miles, which is excessive for a brand new vehicle. Since my residence is about 43 miles from the dealer, the actual millage on the vehicle was 127 miles when I drove it out of their parking lot. I complained to the dealer about the excessive millage, demanding it replace my car with another new one. Their response was, in substance, that the excess millage was due to road testing in connection with new wheels I purchased as an accessory. I believe the dealer's excuse for the high millage is false, and, apparently, the dealer's awareness of the unacceptability of the millage was the reason the instrument panel was set to a function other than the odometer. It should be noted that, missing from the documents given to me at that time, was the NYS Dept. of Motor Vehicles Form MV50 which is the only document disclosing the odometer reading for a new vehicle. Only after subsequently complaining to Great Neck Nissan about its failure to provide me with this document did I receive a copy of the document as an attachment to an email. Incidentally, it was this matter which raised my suspicion of this dealer and prompted me to review all documents in connection with this auto purchase.

Hello. I have just taken the opportunity to read [redacted] comments. Although I did not personally handle this transaction, as the Finance DirectorI did have the pleasure of meeting [redacted].I did review his file and the documentation. I, as well as Great Neck Nissan take any customers...

disfactistion seriously. To the facts:[redacted] purchased the 2015 Sentra for $ 13,772.00 net of factory rebates and before sales tax and DMV. He did purchase a  Nissan Gold Preferred 72 month 75,000 VSC additionally. For this reason I have no understanding of why he believes he paid over market value of a new car that the MSRP was $ 18,630.00.The Nissan vehicle service contract he chose to purchase was the most comprehensive that is available from the manufacturer. However if for any reason he had a change of mind regarding protecting his asset, then this of course is his prerogative and I can assist in cancelling that coverage immediately. As far as  addressing income, attitudes, etc I would answer that by stating we only use the information provided by and attested to by the client. Lastly, it would be my pleasure to personally address [redacted]s comments directly as needed. I did review his completed post delivery Nissan Survey.  I was happy to see that he did feel, according to his words completely satisfied with the salesman, the finance manager and the dealership process overall. I would appreciate the opportunity to do what is reasonable for [redacted] to continue his complete satisfaction.Sincerely, Gregg R[redacted]Finance DirectorGreat Neck Nissan  Titan Motor GroupDirect: ###-###-####  ext: [redacted]Fax: ###-###-#### PS As an update to my recent response.  I was unaware, however Great Neck Nissan did cancel the Nissan Vehicle Service Contract at [redacted]'s request.  This was a refund in full,  approximately one month after taking delivery of his new vehicle.Any documentation needed to verify this transaction can easily be forwarded to you as needed.  We remain dedicated to all of our customers complete satisfaction.

Phil the salesman and my mother was present and can testify that during my lease signing I was promised that Nissan will pay for the wear and tear, the one month paynent which became two months of late payment because they left my honda accord sitting in their shop for over a month. I called for them to hold my ez pass and phil said okay and they had it but after three attempts to retrieve it I was informed that they lost it. I was definitely promised that they will pay for the over mileage because I would not have purchased a Nissan if otherwise. Nissan have a form that they want the customer to sign stating that the customer will be responsible for the over mileage but I did not sign that form. That is when they agreed to pay for my over mileage. If Nissan can provide Revdex.com with that form with my signature agreeing to pay for my over mileage then I will have nothing more to say but I know I did not sign that form because they agreed to pay for the over milages. They even asked me how many miles the Honda have and how many miles were over mileage. They know darn well they agreed to pay for the over mileage! If this is how Great neck Nissan operates then I must say this is a horrible first experience with Nissan. My previous three year lease with Honda was fine.

Review: GreatNeck Nissan manager Jordan and Salesman Phil agreed to pay off my Honda over mileage but it have been 3 months and my Honda bill have not been paid. A warning to all,

I have been dealing with issues with Great Neck Nissan for years!! My car hashad so many problems the day it came off the lot and I ended up paying for all of it. I had gone for simple oil changes and maintance where they would do 3/4 jobs and forget one. I would have to go back on my time to get things done so frequently to deal with seat belt problems, air bag problems, noise problems, brake problems, and more. I was charged a ridiculous amount of money to get problems fixed that I should not have had to pay for. I had taken an extended wuarantee but nothing is ever "covered". No one there really wants to help or understand your frustration. They all fake it the day you go to purchase or lease a car. Once they sell you a car that's the max of caring. They made me pay more a month for a mistake they made. They didn't register my VIP card that everyone gets for 6 months free car wash so I then had to pay and when I called they said they couldn't do anything that day so of course forced me to pay.

This is warning to everyone who just wants a great experience car buying.. Do not go to Great Neck Nissan! They are not nice, caring people and you will deal with frustration untill you have their car. I have their car for another 3 years and will not ever go back to them when I am done with their lease.

A lady there told me it was because I am a woman! I am not ok with the service they provide and feel bad for all other victims that don't speak up.

Review: It was my understanding that I would be sold the new car at a certain price which was quoted in a TrueCar Certificate which I submitted to the salesman. It was my understanding that the dealer accepted my trade for the quoted I obtained from Kelley Blue Book, which I also submitted to the salesman. The salesman met several times with his manager (I believe) and he informed me that we had a "deal". I returned the next day (2/**/16) when I was able to obtain a payoff for my trade. I had earlier emailed the salesman a copy the ten day payoff amount from the bank. The finance manager initially attempt to use a higher amount for the pay-off but when I showed him the email he blamed the salesman. He assured me that everything else was fine and expressed how honest the dealership was. I was tired and in a lot of pressure and did not read all the pages he put I front of me. I signed basically without reading all the fine print believing he was honestly representing the deal which I originally agreed to. The discrepancies between the new car sale price, the trade in credit and even the sale tax far exceeds $5,000 by my rough calculations. I wrote to Great Neck Nissan and included attachments of all the above referenced documents but have not received a reply. I hope your organization will investigate this matter. Thank you. [redacted]Desired Settlement: Great Neck Nissan cheated me on several levels and they should make it right. It would be my hope that they have not cheated others.

Review: Subsequent to the day of the purchase, I examined all documents given to me from the dealer. I then realized that, on all documents (including the form MV50 which, incidentally, the dealer did not provide me with until I demanded it), the dealer artificially increased the selling price by $1,000, i.e., increased it from $17,385 to $18,385 (from $10,385 to $11,385 after trade-in), which was not the price the sales person and I verbally had agreed to, and then offset $1,000 as a rebate ("bonus cash-back" advertised by Nissan) before tallying the amount I owed (which brought the price back down to the agreed price). It should be noted that the dealer never mentioned about the $1,000 bonus cash-back incentive at the time of the sale or any time prior thereto. I learned about it after examining the documents. Since Nissan credits the dealer in the amount of the incentive, the dealer will unjustly receive a $1,000 profit, because, effectually, it didn't lower the agreed selling price (since it artificially raised it BEFORE applying the rebate by the same amount). Furthermore, I paid sales tax on the artificially raised selling price ($11,385 after trade-in) instead of the agreed price ($10,385 after trade-in), which amounts to $86.25 in overpaid sales tax. Accordingly, I paid $1,086.25 more than what I should have paid on this auto purchase.Desired Settlement: The dealer withheld informing me of their advertised $1,000 bonus cash-back and deceitfully imbedded it into the figures listed on all documents and then hastily put the documents before me to sign. Trusting that the figures in the contract would reflect our verbally agreed purchase price, I only checked the totals, which I found at the time to be correct (since I was not yet aware of the $1,000 incentive). Therefore, the dealer should refund me in the amount of the incentive plus overpaid sales tax, totaling $1,086.25.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

At the outset, the document ("buyer's agreement") submitted by Great Neck Nissan with their response shows different information from that shown in the original document given to me (purchaser). Clearly, the authenticity of their submitted document is, without question, lacking. Kindly examine my document submitted as an attachment hereto. On my document you will clearly see that the VEHICLE PRICE ("agreed price") is $18,385.00, not $17,385.00 shown in their document. My document also clearly shows sales tax of $969.02, not $882.76 shown in their document. Also, kindly note the lack of hand written entries on my document. In fact, the subject business admits that I (purchaser) agreed to the selling price of $17,385.00. As indicated in my complaint, Great Neck Nissan never mentioned about the $1,000 rebate ("bonus cash-back" incentive) at the time of the sale or any time prior thereto. Had they properly done so, I would have agreed to a selling price no higher than $16, 385.00, not $17,385.00, and certainly not $18,385.00 shown in the buyer's agreement. As indicated in my complaint, since Nissan credits the dealer in the amount of the incentive, the dealer will unjustly receive a $1,000 profit (meant for the consumer, not the dealer) because, effectually, it didn't lower the agreed selling price, since it artificially raised it $1,000 to $18,385.00 BEFORE applying the rebate by the same amount. Furthermore, the subject business admits to my overpayment in sales tax. This was not an innocent oversight on the part of the dealer, since the overpayment ($86.25) was based on the artificial selling price of $18,385.00 shown in the buyer's agreement. In summary, as indicated in my complaint, the dealer improperly withheld informing me of their $1,000 bonus cash-back incentive, deceitfully imbedded the rebate into figures listed on all documents and then hastily put the documents before me to sign. Believing that the figures listed in the documents would reflect our vberbally agreed selling price ($17,385.00), I only checked the totals, which I found at the time to be approximately correct (since I was not yet aware of the $1,000 incentive). Therefore, the dealer should refund me in the amount of the incentive plus overpaid sales tax, totaling $1,086.25. To date, I have not received from Great Neck Nissan a refund of $86.25 in overpaid sales tax (which it indicated in its response was already sent). However, if it does refund me said amount, then it is still obligated to refund me the balance of $1,000.00.[redacted]

BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!I came to great neck Nissan b/c my lease with Toyota was due. So I made the worst mistake by going to Great Neck Nissan. The experience was horrendous. My sales rep was Gina T[redacted], and I decided on the Altima. They quoted me one price and I got a different price when I signed the contract.

1. They changed my plates without asking me and insisted with the new plates.

2. They took my Toyota and promised that they would take care of the vehicle and I had nothing to worry about. I repeatedly asked Gina and she assured me that I had nothing to worry about, as long as I was paid up with my lease,'which I was.

3. About 3 weeks after my purchase I received a bill from Toyota financial that my bill was passed due. (I thought what bill???? I returned the car) Long story short they returned my Toyota a one month later( Who Knows what they were doing with my toyota) to a Toyota dealership and the fees started to accrue. I called Gina and asked her what was going on and she continued to assure that she was on top of and I had nothing to worry about anything. I told her that they dealership was responsible for paying the bill with Toyota since they held the vehicle for a month with no intention of buying that car. After many attempts with Gina and numerous text messages back and forth she finally told me that the general manager was going to pay for the bill and send out the check. A week later I checked back and still nothing was done the bill was still outstanding. I got nothing accomplished. I had to personally go down to the dealership and they gave me the same bt. Spoke with Jeff the sales manager and he told me that he would take care of the bill during the week. He never got back to me and I called the following week and he told me to call back again said the office was closed... Called back and left a message. Got no call back, called back again the following day he was in a meeting. They completely gave me the runaround, they hoped I would just give up. But I was persistent. My final and third attempt I went down to the dealership on a weekday and went to speak with the General manager Stacey and immediately gave me the check and I said "I thought you have to pay Toyota directly? and she said "NO".

The bottom line is that I'm in a hole for 400 dollars. They are liars and thieves. Gina T[redacted], Salvatore and Jeff were a bunch of liars and manipulative throughout the whole situation.

Additionally I receive a letter from Toyota that Odometer hasn't been disclosed!!! (When I returned my vehicle it was under 25 thousand miles) They probably drove my Toyota, B/c the vehicle was returned a month later. They are scammers and I wouldn't be surprised if they did this illegal activity often.
