reading and responding to the complaint from the beginning-march 11th is a correct date [redacted] met with my son to sign an offer to rent to procure the property for april 15th she called and cancelled moving in without giving a day noticethe property was removed from the market for them and at the 15th of april had to be put back on the market and did not rent again until june 9th-more than days after they canceled the time of move-in they clearly knew we held the property for them an owner suffers a loss should a tenant not move in the money is then used until rented again and a pro=rated portion would be returned legally, I could collect additional monies from themhave chosen not to do that his dates are incorrectthe non-refundable verbage is very clear in that the offer to rent allows that deposit to be used towards starting first months rentmr [redacted] knew what he was signing as it was face to face and very legalthe home was not still occupied as the cleaning of the vacant home was on april 11th and the past tenant would vouch for the time he was out I am sorry for this situation but it was done properly

I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because: there was never a lease agreement signed she canceled the meeting to sign due to the easter holidayIf you look at the initial application that my wife filled out there was suppose to be a $deposit not by California law no application is to contain verbage of non refundable security depositby law they where suppose to notify in writing and that still has not happened to datethis was a two party application and my wife never signed any documents after the initial applicationthey are stating the house was vacant it was still occupied from my understanding in her sons conversation with me 6!weeks agoWhat else do I have to prove that they are negligent *** ***l
