I do everything in writing for this very reason I did tell her we would repair the minor stucco damage, never did I tell her we would paint until she told me she was very unhappy with the stucco replairMy crew are window installers not specialized in major stucco repair I did have to contact a stucco guy that I paid out of my own pocket to repair the stucco damage that were in questionsIt wasn't till at that time did I agree to paint verbally, again to make my customer happyYou can see in my orginally email to her that I had attached in pervious response, that I NEVER mentioned painting like we didI just find it so unusual that if my quality of work did not meet her sastifaction that she would ask me to install more windows for herShe emailed me twice about buying and installing more windows after this orginal installIt wasn't until I refused that I got blasted for bad work I am truly diappointed that she is unhappy, as I truly value each of my customers and strive for perfection in my work as a window installer Also, upon completion she asked me to power wash her patio because of all the dust from the stucco work, again something I did only for her because she didn't feel like she should have to do it herselfIt was swept off, but that was not enough for her, she wanted it power washed I did not notice any concrete that come off during the two times it was power washed for herI did the powerwashing so I would have noticed that If she wants to blame me for the damage that is fine, I never should have agreed to do it in the first place and it was weeks after the install when she told me about the concrete piece that was damagedWe walked the property after the final repairs were done so I could collect final payment, neither of us notice a chuck of concrete missing as she says I do not feel like her accusations are true or justI'm also very sorry she feels the way she does

I should have used the contract my sales people useIt clearly states that we do not fix stucco or paintI have emails to [redacted] stating we can repair minor stucco damage not just any type of stucco damage So I do not know where she got the idea that we repair any type of damage then paint more than the damaged areas of stuccoReplacing windows is a construction project and damage can happen, we always bring the damaged areas back to paint ready, so customers can paintWhich we did in [redacted] case, I even went above and beyond what we usually do in an install without charging her for itShe was very picky, and wanted all this extra stuff done that she was not charged for, my goal was to make the customer happyWe painted both inside around the windows and outside around the windowsA job like this should of run $- $per window installed [redacted] paid around $per window installedShe can use the thousands she saved and have the stucco repaired to her likingShe was happy once everything was done, and If we did such a bad job why did she want more windows? Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: When I discussed with *** (the owner) before any order was placed, he said he could do stucco work, and would do the painting as needed. After they did extensive damage to the stucco, they did not have someone who could fix it, so they just put blobs of concrete where the stucco belongs, and left. So, I did complain and they came out again. They said they had a stucco person. He covered areas of the windows that should not be covered. I have had a real stucco company come out and look at the work, and they said this was some of the worst work they had ever seen. And, yes I was picky - when they stood on my window sills, and left marks on the sills, and broke off large pieces of stucco, I consider that poor workmanship, and lack of respect for the customer's property. So, since he feels this way, that's fine, but I will warn other people not to use him since he will stand behind his work. In addition, he claims he did not take a chunck out of my concrete porch which is scored and stained, but he is the one that pressure washed the porch. He was the only person back there

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  Most of this information is not 100% the truth.  And, never once, did I ask him to powerwash the patio.  he contacted me and told me he was going to do it because of all the dust.  I did contact him about doing more windows, thinking we would hire my own stucco person, but he never said no.  he just plain did not respond to my email.  I am done with all this, as the truth is the truth, and things he verbally  told me when he came to measure the windows about painting and doing stucco repairs, was that yes, they do it all.  Only when they were screwing up and damaging things did he start with the comments about the fact that he does not do stucco.  (After installing windows is a little late to be telling me that).  At this point, he has his story, and I have mine.  I will advise my friends to use another company, which is what I am doing now, and they do the paint touch ups, and they have a stucco company (a real stucco company) they work with to do any required repairs.  So, [redacted] can say whatever he pleases, but I know the truth about the experience.
Regards,
[redacted]

I should have used the contract my sales people use. It clearly states that we do not fix stucco or paint. I have emails to [redacted] stating we can repair minor stucco damage not just any type of stucco damage.  So I do not know where she got the idea that we repair any type of damage then paint...

more than the damaged areas of stucco. Replacing windows is a construction project and damage can happen, we always bring the damaged areas back to paint ready, so customers can paint. Which we did in [redacted] case, I even went above and beyond what we usually do in an install without charging her for it. She was very picky, and wanted all this extra stuff done that she was not charged for, my goal was to make the customer happy. We painted both inside around the windows and outside around the windows. A job like this should of run $600 - $800 per window installed. [redacted] paid  around $442 per window installed. She can use the thousands she saved and have the stucco repaired to her liking. She was happy once everything was done, and If we did such a bad job why did she want more windows? I did refuse to do more windows at the price, I did the original ones because of all the extra work that was involved. Not sure if this is the real reason she filed a complaint against me.

I do everything in writing for this very reason.  I did tell her we would repair the minor stucco damage, never did I tell her we would paint until she told me she was very unhappy with the stucco replair. My crew are window installers not specialized in major stucco repair.  I did have to contact  a stucco guy that I paid out of my own pocket to repair the stucco damage that were in questions. It wasn't till at that time did I agree to paint verbally, again to make my customer happy. You can see in my orginally email to her that I had attached in pervious response, that I NEVER mentioned painting like we did. I just find it so unusual that if my quality of work did not meet her sastifaction that she would ask me to install more windows for her. She emailed me twice about buying and installing more windows  after this orginal install. It wasn't until I refused that I got blasted for bad work.  I am truly diappointed that she is unhappy, as I truly value each of my customers and strive for perfection in my work as a window installer.  Also, upon completion she asked me to power wash her patio because of all the dust from the stucco work, again something I did only for her because she didn't feel like she should have to do it herself. It was swept off, but that was not enough for her, she wanted it power washed.  I did not notice any concrete that come off during the two times it was power washed for her. I did the powerwashing so I would have noticed that.  If she wants to blame me for the damage that is fine, I never should have agreed to do it in the first place and it was weeks after the install when she told me about the concrete piece that was damaged. We walked the property after the final repairs were done so I could collect final payment, neither of us notice a chuck of concrete missing as she says.  I do not feel like her accusations are true or just. I'm also very sorry she feels the way she does..
