Dear***:This is in regard to Complaint ID ***This email is to notify you that I have received my requested adjustment from Great Reunions in the requested amount of $for tickets I purchased, by personal check, for a high school reunion that Great Reunions cancelled.Besides myself, there were three other people that purchased their tickets from Great Reunions that I included in my complaint.*** *** *** *** - filed a dispute complaint against Great Reunions through their charge card company and received a credit on their charge card *** ***, to date, has not received his refund in the amount of $ He purchased his ticket through a charge card company He told me today, he was going to dispute the charges against Great Reunions through his charge card company Since this is still an active complaint against Great Reunions, until *** *** advises me he has been credited with a refund in the amount of $128.00.....our complaint against Great Reunions is still open.I will advise you as soon as *** *** advises me he has received his refund.I sincerely appreciate all that the Revdex.com had done for me up to this point.Sincerely,*** ***

Review: I am the chairperson on a committee for our 50 Year High School Reunion who hired Great Reunions on 2-3-14 to help us plan our reunion scheduled for 9-12-15. On 9-16-14, Great Reunions told me they were going to execute a contract with Embassy Suites Hotel, the venue for our reunion, chosen by the committee. Great Reunions was supposed to sign a contract and give Embassy Suites a deposit to hold the date for us. On 12-4-14, I received an email from a former client of Great Reunions warning me about their unethical business practices. I called Embassy Suites on 12-05-14 to make sure Great Reunions signed a contract and gave Embassy Suites their required signed contract and deposit, and I found out they did not. During this time, Great Reunions was selling tickets to our reunion being held at this hotel that they had not even secured. Since the reunion was now only nine months away, I asked the hotel to give Great Reunions one more chance to secure our date with the hotel. The hotel gave Great Reunions one week to send them the signed contract and the deposit of $1,000. In a matter of only two hours, instead of signing the contract and giving the hotel the contract and deposit, Great Reunions cancelled the reunion. Great Reunions told the hotel that the reunion committee cancelled the reunion.....which is not true. Great Reunions told me if the committee wanted to cancel the reunion, we would have to send Great Reunions a cancellation notice in writing......which we never did. Great Reunions has stated in the paperwork sent to me "We typically put up 100% of the money and take 100% of the financial risk."Desired Settlement: There were five tickets sold by Great Reunions at $128.00 each = $640.00. Tickets were purchased from [redacted] and [redacted], and [redacted]. On 12-10-14, in an email to me from [redacted] with Great Reunions, she advised me that "[redacted] (Great Reunions staff person) had already started the process to see that the people who purchased tickets are refunded." Our contract with Great Reunions indicates "If Great Reunions chooses to terminate this agreement, all amounts received by Great Reunions as fees for attendance to the class reunion will be returned to class members, without interest, within 14 days of termination." After contacting Great Reunions and leaving messages and emails.....they have refused to return my calls or answer my email or refund us the purchase of our tickets.

Review: Great Reunions has failed to honor our contract regarding a rebate. Our contract states that "a rebate of $1.00 per person will be given for each prepaid dinner ticket purchased by 5 pm the Thursday prior the reunion 6-26-14." We had a total of 119 tickets purchased before the date specified. It has been two months and after continually contacting Great Reunions they still won't send the rebate.Desired Settlement: I would like the rebate check immediately along with our final list of attendees with addresses.
